Blake Shelton Trolls Paps, Tweets Miranda Lambert

The twitterverse is all abuzz because Blake Shelton and his ex-wife Miranda Lambert had a little exchange on twitter. You know, just to prove they don’t hate each other’s guts, or that their PR teams are attempting to bury each other *cough* in the wake of the couple’s sudden split-up and divorce.

Meanwhile, Blake decided it would be great fun to troll the paps in Los Angeles. He’s in California at the moment, taping Blind Auditions for The Voice season 9. On Thursday, the singer strolled out in front of a photographer with a baby stroller containing a pink blanket shaped like a bundle of joy. Clearly this little display was in reference to tabloid rumors that Miranda is pregnant.

When asked how he was doing, he responded, “How you doin’, Einstein,” and announced that he was “just taking the stroller to the car.” Then, with two bodyguards in tow, Blake placed the stroller in the back of a black Range Rover and reached for a Starbucks cup filled with clear liquid.

Asked if he had any regrets about his failed relationship, Blake replied, “Yeah, man. I shoulda drank more today.” Check out the pictures at Entertainment Tonight. A rep for the singer told ET: “He knew the paparazzi was there and was just being funny.”

Getting back to today’s tweets. Blake tagged Miranda, remarking that it was unbelievable some people hadn’t bought the new album by their mutual friend, Ashley Monroe. Earlier this week, Miranda had taken the stage with her good friend to perform a duet.

And then, Miranda replied

Banter ensues!

Miranda teased Blake about the pap stunt.

Blake quips in return.

How adorable! Except for the cynically-minded among us. A few fans cocked an eyebrow at an exchange that could have been engineered to shut the gossipers up. Or maybe even set up before their divorce.

Blake is having none of that:

And then this guy chimes in:

Of course, Blake has a snarky response.
