Blake Shelton on Simon Cowell: “Everytime I Turn Around The Guy is Mouthing Off” (VIDEO)

Ah ha ha. The Voice coach, Blake Shelton, reacts to Simon Cowell’s whining about NBC’s decision to air a third day of The Voice against the X Factor premiere on The Ellen Show yesterday.  On Access Hollywood, Blake basically tells the testy Brit to STFU.

“Every time I turn around the guy is mouthing off,” the country superstar told Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle. “Don’t y’all wish you had time to sit around and b**** and moan like that guy does? Every time I turn around, he’s mouthing off about our show. It’s like, ‘Do your own show! Come on! Put something together there and do your thing. We’ll just do ours and we won’t mouth off about you.’ I wish I had that much time. The guy must just have more free time than he knows what to do with.”

“There’s room for all these shows,” Blake said. “That’s what frustrates me when I hear the bickering. I’m like, ‘We’re all doing pretty good. High five!’ But I think the thing that the other shows probably took notice of was — the four of us on ‘The Voice’ — we’re not judges.”

Actually, I’m on Team Simon. I hope X Factor kicks The Voice’s ass tonight, but Simon IS beginning to sound whiny as he bitches about NBC to anyone who will listen. Enough. Via Access Hollywood.

    On my country radio station today, they talked about Blake last night on “The Voice.”  A clip was played of Blake saying, “If this was a high school gymnasium, there’s be a banner up on the wall it would say, Season 2 Blake Shelton Winner.”

    Um, I was supportive of Blake, but didn’t an actual contestant win?

    Team Blake for me.  I tried watching X Factor last season but it was too much about the judges.  I like the Voice and will be watching it this season and skip X Factor. I find it hard to care all that much about Simon since he’s just mad he wasn’t in the position to do it himself.

    Team Blake over here, too.  Simon and his ego…  Now if someone tells me down the road that X-Factor has this awesome contestant I must see, I’ll probably check it out.  I like the chemistry on The Voice, and there’s been some really good contestants.
