Big Brother 18 – Week 3 Power Rankings

Tonight was the second live eviction of Big Brother 18. Read on to see who won HoH and where the Houseguests stand for the week.

Tonight was the second live eviction of Big Brother 18. By a vote of 9 – 1 – 0, Victor was evicted from the Big Brother house. After tonight’s HoH competition, Bridgette is the new Head of Household. But before I get to my predictions of the upcoming week, let me discuss the events of the previous week that led to Victor’s blindside.

Victor: As soon as Paulie won HoH, Victor’s fate was pretty much sealed. He was the biggest threat on the other side of the house that is not aligned to the 8 Pack. A backdoor plan was put in place, and Victor already had a foot out the door when he did not win the Power of Veto. Victor nominating Tiffany was his best chance of survival, but the majority of the house still wanted Victor gone more than they wanted Tiffany gone. He’ll still have a chance to return with the Battle Back twist though.

ALLIANCES

8 Pack

The 8 Pack is pretty much nonexistent at this point. It wasn’t shown in the episode tonight, but nearly every 8 Pack member has been paranoid about their fellow members. First it was Tiffany being a target, but the majority of the house now wants Frank gone. After they compared notes, the members within the 8 Pack realized that Frank was making Final 4 deals with everyone in the house. In addition, everyone was angry with Frank revealing the 8 Pack alliance to Paulie without talking about it with them first. Also, Frank has been very disrespectful to the women in the house, which includes slapping them on the butts and calling them sluts. Even though he thinks he’s doing it as a joke, it’s gross behavior and the women have had enough. As a result, there was a consensus from the 8 Pack members (except for Frank obviously) to backdoor Frank this week. However, Bridgette winning HoH has ruined their secret plan. Now the 8 Pack will have to scramble to survive, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they all throw Tiffany under the bus to save their own lives in the game.

Spy Girls

This week will show whether Bridgette is more loyal to Bronte and Natalie or to Frank. Frank will definitely try to influence Bridgette’s HoH reign, but perhaps Bronte and Natalie can sway Bridgette to play her own game instead of doing whatever Frank wants.

Da’Vonne + Nicole + Corey + Paulie + Zakiyah Alliance

After Paulie learned about the 8 Pack, he formed his own alliance with Nicole, Corey, and Zakiyah. Zakiyah brought Da’Vonne into this alliance too. However, Da’Vonne does not want to be a part of an alliance where she is clearly the fifth wheel. Everyone in the alliance seems to be playing along with this, so this isn’t a solid group just yet.

Now onto the Power Rankings. Since Bridgette is the HoH, here are where the Houseguests stand in the house this upcoming week.

WEEK 3 POWER RANKINGS

1. BRIDGETTE – She is the current HoH and will be making nominations this week. This week will show who Bridgette is more loyal to. Will she just do Frank’s bidding or will she side more with Natalie and Bronte? Frank will definitely be in Bridgette’s ear all week long though and will do whatever he can to push his agenda on her. However, who knows what Bridgette will be doing this week?

2. FRANK – Frank was the #1 target going into this week. He still has no idea that his fellow 8 Pack members and Paulie all wanted him out this week. However, Bridgette winning HoH has saved him this week. Frank will likely try to control the nominations this week. He has a vendetta against Tiffany, and he’ll be pushing for her to go this week. The plan to take Frank out will have to wait until next week since he’s safe this week.

3. MICHELLE – As a fellow Category 4 member, Michelle has nothing to worry about this week. Just like last week, a fellow team member is the HoH. She might be worried for her allies though, but she is safe from eviction this week. Interestingly enough, Michelle really wants Bridgette gone more than anyone else in the house. However, they can’t go against each other just yet since they are on the same team.

4. PAULIE – Paulie is another Category 4 member, so he’s safe too. He’ll be worried about his allies, but he’ll be safe from eviction too. He’ll probably try to protect Corey this week, but Paulie has nothing to worry about thanks to the Team Twist.

5. NATALIE – As a fellow Spy Girl member, Bridgette will not be nominating Natalie this week. Perhaps Natalie could get into Bridgette’s ear to target some of the guys, but Frank will be more aggressive in pushing his agenda. We still need to see what Bridgette will ultimately do this week, but Natalie will likely be safe.

6. ZAKIYAH – Zakiyah should be okay this week. She’s on no one’s radar right now. Even though she isn’t aligned with Bridgette, Zakiyah does not seem to be on her or anyone else’s hit list at the moment. Zakiyah can continue to fly under the radar this week since she isn’t in any danger at the moment.

7. JAMES – The Spy Girls seem to be fond of James, so he should be okay this week. He has been flying under the radar this past week, but he was in on the plan to target Frank. Now that Frank is safe, he’ll go back to lying low again.

8. DA’VONNE –  Da’Vonne has been playing a very messy game. Every day she has a new target in mind. She went from wanting Tiffany out to wanting Frank out. There were even times when she doubted Zakiyah and wanted to split up the Nicole/Corey and Paulie/Zakiyah pairings too. It’s only a matter of time before other Houseguests compare notes about Da’Vonne and realize she is not to be trusted. Her reckless gameplay could be exposed this week, but she might be okay since there are other targets in the house.

9. NICOLE – Bridgette has mentioned nominating Nicole and Corey together. However, she has mentioned letting Frank run her HoH reign to build trust. Therefore, Nicole and Corey might be okay this week. Even if Nicole does end up on the block, she’ll have enough allies that will vote to keep her in the house.

10. COREY – The Spy Girls have said they want the girls in the house to stick together. If that follows through, then Bridgette could nominate Corey. If Bridgette listens to Natalie and Bronte more than she does to Frank, Corey could find himself on the block. However, Frank will likely be running Bridgette’s HoH this week, so Corey might be okay this week.

11. BRONTE – Bridgette won’t be nominating Bronte for eviction this week. However, Bronte could find herself on the block once again due to the Roadkill Twist. Everyone in the 8 Pack + Paulie have said they would nominate Bronte if they were to win the Roadkill competition. So even though an ally of Bronte’s is HoH, Bronte is still in danger this week.

12. PAUL – Paul will likely be on the block again this week. Bridgette will probably be talked into nominating him alongside Tiffany this week. The girls may vote to send him home this week even if he is sitting next to Tiffany on Thursday. However, a lot of people are concerned about Tiffany…

13. TIFFANY – Tiffany is in danger this week. Frank desperately wants her out, and he’ll do whatever he can to convince Bridgette to target her. If Tiffany ends up on the block next Thursday, she could be evicted. However, she should have the votes to stay from her fellow Fatal Five members. So many people want Frank gone, and Tiffany being so transparent about how much she doesn’t like Frank could be enough to have people vote to keep her in the house. Nonetheless, if her paranoia gets the best of her again, she could be walking out the door next week.

So those are my thoughts on the house dynamics this week. Thanks for reading and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
