Beyonce – “1 + 1″ – New Music Video

I’m generally not a fan of modern R&B but I absolutely adore Beyonce’s latest album 4.  The music video for the stunning “1+1″, the 3rd single from the album has just been released, featuring water, sweat and a little smoke, all bathed in golden and blue.

An impromptu video, shot by husband Jay-Z in her dressing room at American Idol, reveals how pure her voice is. Pretty amazing stuff.

    Wow, video is intense, and visually beautiful. I don’t love “4″, as I feel most of the songs are average at best, but at least she is trying to make quality music.

    It’s been fun to watch her career and her music develop over the past decade-plus. She seems like a very hard worker. IIRC she also performed this on the AI finale (not just in the dressing room).

    She is just gorgeous all-around. I hope she sticks around in this industry for 40+ years. I find her incredibly interesting.

    Nice video – I own this CD and play it everyday. Whatever song comes to mind when I awake in the morning is the song I start my day to.

    A definite “stan” of Beyonce – made more so by all the people that have nothing but “negative” things to say about her.

    Great vocals, but this video is a bit boring. I don’t think this is Beyonce’s next single, I seen somewhere the nest single is “Party”. I don’t know, I think the album is solid, but not exactly loaded with hit singles.

    Great song, but her voice is awful on it. Like nails on a chalkboard. She should not do these “Singer’s songs”.

    Don’t like this song and I even saw her sing it live at the Idol Finale. It was actually one of the most boring parts of the show, for me. I dunno, I know this song is all about sex, but the video looks to me like a “sex sells” thing. I really like Beyonce, too. I think she is one of the best female Pop stars out there. I love the way she lives her life, both professionally and privately… so Beyonce, stans, don’t get mad at me!

    While I like a lot of this album, this is one song that does nothing for me and the video did not hold my attention. However “Best thing I never had” has really grown on me.
