Puck looks a lot like one of my nephews. So I am willing to overlook all the asshattery from early episodes and pretend he’s as nice as the nephew. I don’t think he matches up well with Rachel, but he does seem to have more of a brain than Finn. Plus, from the clip, looks like QuinnyQuinnQuinn is feeling a little more fondly toward her babydaddy. S’all good!

I love Finn but at least they didn’t overload Puck’s performance with all that Autotune. Does Mark Salling have any real life singing experience? I know Cory Monteith plays drums but didn’t sing or dance before this.

Eeeee! Is it Wednesday yet? I’ve been anxious to see this episode since I saw the Canadian preview for it. Puck is soooo friggin’ hot, it’s ridiculous. I’ve also always had a thing for the dark haired bad boys, so of course I adore Puck.

Can’t wait to see next week! Then, apparently, there’s a 2 week hiatus until November 11, when we get Artie’s episode and the Kurt/Rachel “Defying Gravity” duet. This season is just flying by! Good thing I have all the eps on my DVR still, LOL.

Anyone besides myself thinks that Puck looks like Chris Daughtry? I also think his speaking voice sounds like Chris….

Puck is hot and complex – a fabulous combination. Waaay more interesting to me than Finn although I do think Finn’s naà ¯vet is charming. And this Puck quote is classic: “Hey ankle grabber…I had sex with your mother, no seriously….I cleaned your pool, and then I had sex with her in your bed. Nice Stars Wars sheets.”

I love Glee!

He sounds really good. I like Cory Monteith a lot, but his singing voice is weak, especially paired up with a powerhouse belter like Lea Michelle. I’d like to see Puck or Artie get a chance at dueting with her.

Are we being set up for a love quad-rangle with Finn, Puck, Quinn and Rachel, LOL? That could be lots of fun.

Did anyone else notice Puck wheeling Artie out of the auditorium in this week’s episode? That’s a big leap from locking him in the Port-a-Potty and trying to get Finn to roll it. I love that we’re seeing character development in even the secondary characters already.

I love Puck (hot), and he sings Sweet Caroline (hello, Red Sox), so I’m happy. Plus, I think his voice is a LOT better than Finn’s. Yes, I can hear a little Daughtry. And I agree, he is being developed as a well-rounded character, just like Quinn is.

And Quinn looks a little starstruck…lol

I’m liking Puck’s singing and I think his voice is richer than Finn’s. I also like his character better. I see tension and drama coming. Yay!

Yes!! That’s what I was thinking the whole time, haha. I’m beginning to like Puck a lot, although I still love goofy old Finn. Puck + Rachel is weird! but I think I’ll like it for one or two episodes, if that’s how long it lasts.

Long before my mother and I bonded over the Glittery Alien Prince, there was Neil Diamond. We saw him together in ’87 or ’88–Awesome. So much fun to hear Puck sing this song–has a little bit of Neil’s throaty gravel going on. Go, Puck!

I think he is mad at Finn and Quinn, so to get back at Finn he flirts with Rachel

Finn doesn’t do it for me so much – but he is lovable – he reminds me of the character Jason Segel played on Freaks and Geeks. (Which was also set at McKinley High I believe BTW!)

This show just gets better and better…Love that Puck is getting more air time…

My theory is that Puck is trying to seduce Rachel so that Finn will realize that Rachel is the one he really wants and Puck can end up with Quinn. Puck is a lot smarter than he lets on. (Yikes, I feel like I’m back in high school myself!)

I really liked this. It’s nice to get to hear some of the other kids sing a full solo. And Neil Diamond was one of my first loves. “Musical Jewish icon.” ROTFLMAO.

Ooh, I like his voice. I still prefer Cory for the adorableness, even if he isn’t that great of a singer ( I thought he did No Air pretty well, but that’s about it)

Great lower register. Love his smile. The story lines in Glee are almost too hokey for me to watch, but love the music.

What’s with all the hate for Cory? He’s got a decent voice and he’s good-looking, and kind of awkward, it’s endearing.

I love Puck. I agree with the comments about him being hot and complex. I also agree that he is a better character than Finn. He is way more interesting and smarter than Finn, is IMO. And I think that he is a better singer than Finn is. I enjoyed this performance of “Sweet Caroline”.

Ever since that horrendous Top 5 week of Neil Diamond during AI7 I’ve had an aversion to things like this.

I loved Neil Diamond week on Idol.

And this. Finn is such the perfect handsome, sweet, but slightly dumb lead swain, a classic theater type going back to Shakespeare. He needs a naughtier sidekick. Thus, Puck.

I would jump that in a half minute. Apparently 40something women have a chance you know. No pool, but I have a walk to shovel!
