Huh. There was way more war than love in that video, haha.

Not quite sure what I think. There is a lot of production on this song. I know that’s common in electro pop, but Anoop has such a good voice, it’s a little disappointing not to hear it more clearly. Is he going electro-pop now, rather than staying with the r&b/pop stuff he was doing before?

It’s a kinda cool track, overall. Will have to listen to it again before I decide whether I want to buy it, though

I actually quite liked it! Both visuals an music.
Which is surprising since normally I do not go for electropop.

Understand where’s he’s going and what he’s trying to do, but feel there are others that do it better.  His gorgeous voice is what made him a standout and it’s simply not on these tracks.

I wish Anoop the best. I’m not sure his voice should be so auto-tuned or whatever. The video is kind of interesting. I think Anoop should also look into acting. He’s very good looking!

I really enjoyed Anoop on AI and especially on the tour.  I downloaded a few songs from his previous cd/ep – but they are all on the softer side that show off his warm buttery voice. Ballads are definitely his forte.
I saw him perform a Chris Brown-type number with a bunch of hoochie mamma dancers on a minor late night show and I was actually embarrassed for him.
So forced and artificial…ick, it was all kinds of wrong.
This song was not as bad as I feared but I wouldn’t buy it.

WOW!  That was a powerful, unique video.  If it takes this kind of a song to break in, so be it.  Anoop CAN sing!  All he needs is that big break.  I saw him on that comedy bit after Idol and agree, he could definitely be an actor.  Wishing him the best with this.

Huh. Is there a story behind this video? I must admit I have not been following Anoop. What is he up to?

  • wordnerdarchie

Surprise, surprise, surprise I like this.

    Love Anoop’s voice, but haven’t cared for the music he’s released . . .
