Well, here’s the final 6 performance show for America’s Got Talent.  This is Karen, it’s my first time doing this.

One Million Dollars and a headline show in Vegas.  Sounds good to me.

Sharon says it’s the best final ever…

David Garabaldi and his CMKYs up first.

Shows his son and wife.  Wants to inspire people.

Wow, painting to Won’t get Fooled Again by the Who.  Round thing all different colors.  Turning into a face.  Oh, look, it’s Einstein.

Howard said outstanding job, he likes it.    Says he and Einstein have the same hair.  Sharon said timing was better was fantastic,  Howie said couldn’t think of a better way to start the show.  Chose Einstein because of his creativity.  I just want to know what CMKY stands for.

Tom Cotter up next. Showing him with his sons.   Very heavy on backstory tonight.  Been doing this for 25 years.  Wants to be first comedian to win.  Howie said he is the first comedian to make it this far.  Gave Nick a giant cube with topics on it. Talking about childrens storys. Like why do we tell them don’t let the bedbugs bite, and that they would scare children. Howie said he has scratched his way to the top.  Howard – leaves him wanting more. Thinks he should be the first comedian to win.  Sharon- Says theres a lot further to go.

Ok, back from commercial.

Finalists are going to be on the Today show tomorrow. Winner on Today show on Friday.

Next is the Untouchables. Kids are all crying and very excited.

One girl dancing to Proud Mary.  Now they’re all out.   Looks like a mini-DWTS. One kid climbed over the rest.   Now one girl dancing in front of blue sheet, guess that’s the river.  Looked like a dance recital.

Sharon- gave them a standing ovation.  Said they excelled.  Showed a bunch of different kind of dance, salsa, jive. Howie- Says they are beyond their years, and trash the hotel room like middle aged rockers.  Says not as good as he’s seen before.  Howard said perfection for their age.  Little girl Ruby said they should win because they are kids and the future of America.

Next Joe Castillo.  His wife Cindy is talking about his sand stories.  Sharon says it’s unique what he does.  He’s going to do a tribute to the show. First looks like Nick in the sand .  Turning Nick into Howie.  Now turned Howie into Sharon.  Now turning Sharon into Howard.  Kind of reminds me of Michael Jackson’s Black or White video.

Howard said he was remarkable.  Howie – is moved. calls it the plight of the judges.  Sharon- liked when he did something spirtual better but was ok.  I thought it was ok but some of his others were better.

<sarcasm> Oh, wonderful, Justin Beiber is on the finale tomorrow.</sarcasm>

William Close up next.  Says everything in his life has let to this. Tonight doing biggest performance, symphony of his instruments.

Playing giant harp.  Playing some classical song I should know the name of.  Girl playing violin.  Girl singing America the Beautiful but a different melody.  Other people playing various weird instruments.   Woman flying through air with instrument. Very weird to me.

Judges give standing ovation.   Howie- says every time he steps it up.  Like Cirque de Solei.  Wants to buy tickets to see him. Sharon- says he is a visionary, agrees it’s like Cirque De Solei, will be big no matter what.  Howard- was intelligent move, had everything he could think of.  Thought it was better tonight.

Olate Dogs is next. First animal act to make the finals. Talking about how he loves this country.  Says he’s been doing this for 44 years.

Dog driving a car.  Now dog in tuxedo jumping around.   Really big standard poodle in tuxedo walking on 2 legs.  Now their just running around. One dog pushing another dog on a cylinder. Two dogs on judges table. Sharon hugging one of them. Says she wants to take it home.  Probably with her 20 other dogs.  Howard- Says they did great, thinks it’s between them, the comedian, and guy with earth harp.  Howie- said it was amazing.  Said it began with carpoodleing.   Says American has to vote. The son says it’s a dream come true.

Voting begins.

Sharon says it’s the best finale in 7 years.

Wow, Green Day is going to be on. Joan Rivers too, in addition to Justin Beiber. Also Blue Man Group, someone else.

I kind of agree with Howard, it’s probably going to be between Olate Dogs, WIlliam Close and Tom Cotter.  Maybe David Garabaldi.  I kind of think that Tom Cotter has a strong chance of winning, actually, because I can see more people voting for a comedian than the others, since they are so unique.  I guess we’ll see tomorrow, it’s on 8-10 est.

Whew, what a busy night for TV.  I dvred the X Factor and Big Brother, too. Missed the Voice but might watch online.

I’ll come back with videos later.

I tuned in right at the end and had to look twice! I could swear that guy there in the back row (don’t know what his act was, because I haven’t really watched much) was Paul McDonald from American idol! He wouldn’t smile with his teeth, I wanted to see if he had a gleaming white grill like Paul as well! His suit didn’t have flowers on it, but it was shiny metallic gold!

Sagi, I thought that guy was Paul at first, too. I voted for Tom Cotter. I really enjoyed his comedy act.

Nice job of live blogging, Karen! I watched the X-Factor, but it’s nice to get a recap of what happened on AGT.

I watched most of the show and it was good to see so much diversity and no singers made the Finals.  I have enjoyed each and every performance of The  Untouchables!  I have young Granddaughters in dance.  This group got all my votes.  I know they won’t win, but I just had to.

Since William Close has already appeared in Las Vegas, I don’t want him to win.  Any of the other acts winning is fine with me!  I enjoyed the show.

    CYMK= Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black

I used to do computer graphic work for a book publisher, and our printer combined those four colors to mix all of the colors we used.  I’m assuming that the group paints their pictures by mixing those four colors.

    William Close should win :)

I’m for Tom Cotter.  I do love William Close – but he’s already a pro.  Doesn’t mean he’s not fabulous….it’s just I kinda look at AGT as an ‘amateur’ talent show; meaning someone who hasn’t already grabbed the brass ring.  Close HAS a show in Vegas (his Earth Harp is on permanent installation with Cirque Du Soleil, even though he’s not the one playing it).  So of the rest, Cotter strikes my fancy as the best.  I must say I like all the finale performers – so I won’t be sorry if any one of them wins.  Well – maybe not the dance team.  They leave me a bit cold.  But I love the dogs, the painters, and the sand artist.  Good finale all ’round.

Thanks, Karen!  I totally forgot this was on so I’m so glad you covered this for the blog!  Good thing Dancing with the Stars didn’t start this week too!  I would’ve gone crazy since I don’t have a DVR.
