Which 4 contestants will advance to the semi-finals? Live blogging the America’s Got Talent results show! Will.i.Am and Cirque Du Soleil perform.

RESULTS: Sharice and Maurice, The Scott Brothers, David Garibaldi and his CMYKs, advance via AMERICA . EDON Advances via JUDGES CHOICE.

We get straight to the eliminations

Michael Nejad, Shanice and Maurice Hayes and  Nikki Jensen are up first.

The cast of Cirque Du Soleil Zarkana perform.

The Scott Brothers, Lil Star and 787 Crew take the stage. – Sharon thinks it’s too close to call.  Howie agrees with America’s choice. Howard doesn’t think the singers will necessarily be on top this year (Oh. Yes they will).

The next group! David Garibaldi and his CMYKs, Jarrett and Raja, and American BMX Stunt Team. Howie realizes the the BMX act didn’t translate to TV well. He likes the illusionists, thinks the booing was unfair. Howard predicts David Garaaldi could take the whole thing.

Will.i.Am performs “This is Love” with Eva Simons

Edon, Todd Oliver, Distinguished Men of Brass are next!  The judges decide who goes through, and picks and act to go home right away.  DMOB are eliminated by the judges.

Edon and Todd Oliver remain. The judges will choose who advances. They each have to explain to the judges why they deserve to stay. “Talking dogs make people laugh,” says Todd. NOT YOURS!

Sharon – Doesn’t matter! But she would have chosen Edon

    I just don’t get the popularity of Will.I.Am. OTOH, Cirque de Soleil were great!

    I don’t think Edon is that good.  I think Todd Oliver was interesting and original, but he did need funnier material.

    Edon isn’t an amazing out-of-this-world singer, but he clearly was the second best of the night after Scott Brothers. Dad and daughter and that lame painting act were overpimped so they were more voted.

    Will.I.Am knows how to move the crowd; his songs are great party/gathering songs.  Edon is better than the father/daughter act for sure.  The best act of the night was David Garibaldi and his CMYKs and I’m glad the voters see that too.

    Thank you for presenting so much information on the programs this week.  My television cable got struck by lighting and I have no idea what’s going on with some of my favorite shows!  A huge hug comin’ your way!

    Does anyone doubt the ventriloquist finished ahead of no-talent Edon in the vote? The ventriloquist and his dogs got robbed!

    And what was with Howie Mandel’s rationale for choosing boring no-talent Edon? He said it was because Edon was one of the chosen people. How blatant can it be? Even Nick Cannon appeared shocked by the remark and repeated it.

    I was afraid it would happen and almost sure it would happen.

    The kid is already suffering from hatred and stupid comments on the internet just for the fact he’s a jew (but it always happens). I was afraid that if the judges eventually saved him, he would feel a several retaliation, sicne 2 of them are jewish and one is “half jew” (Sharon).

    But they are 3 totally non-religious jews and any argumentation that they put him through based on ethnicity is laughable and disrespectful, since  he was one of the best of the night, even not being amazing. That ventriloquist is a joke (in a bad way).

    This kid can’t make all the way through at this stage, his singing lacks technique, but he’ll for sure leave the competition too early just based on prejudice.

    I’ll probably tire of Edon by next go around, but I agree he should not be getting one iota of flack for his religion.

    I don’t see anyone going down the line making sure they know every other act’s religious beliefs. But Edon’s is obvious, so that made it convenient for people to pick at. Ridiculous.

    I think it would be better if they bring micah gregorio and tamyra joi back on the show,since they did great in vegas round.I understand if they mess up but i was there as a witness they totally rock the house.I wish they showed their vegas performance,i know everyone will be amazed.I wish AGT will give them a big chance to show more of their talent in new york….
