Now that NBC’s competition reality show, America’s Got Talent 2016 auditions rounds ended last night (July 5), what can viewers expect from the next couple of weeks?
It’s time for the middle rounds! That is, the Judge Cuts, where the panel–Howie Mandel, Mel B., Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell–will be whittling down the list of hopefuls to the acts set to compete in the live semi-finals. The round also kicks off NEW Wednesday night episodes. Actually, Wednesday shows begin this week, however, tonight’s show (July 6) at 8/7c PM will feature a Best of Auditions clip show.
Next week, the competition ramps up big time when four Judge Cuts episodes air over a two week span, with Wednesday nights expanded to two hours until the live shows begin on Tuesday, July 26. The Judge Cuts episodes will also feature one celebrity guest judge a night: Ne-Yo, Reba McEntire, George Lopez and Louis Tomlinson. Each celebrity guest judge will be able to save ONE act from elimination!
