    Thanks for the videos MJ.

  • Keyera Mullins

Wait, Taylor Swift is Country? I’m confused.

  • sweetmm

Wow love Swiftie performance; looking forward to her new tour production!!!  Sexy yet still classy :)

  • sweetmm

Pink is singing live right???  WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

  • Klaine

I was watching some other sh ores but I feel like lio syncing should either not be allowed or there should be an asterisk saying this performer isn’t singing live. I can’t stand it and if you paid a lot of money for a live concert and your only getting a CD with dancers and pyrotechnics, is a ripoff

A lot of lip synching….you won’t see Carrie and Jennifer lipsyncing.

Carrie might have been better served if she had. That performance did the song no favor.

  • Keyera Mullins

I heard Carrie killed it. Can’t wait to see it.

  • OffLeash

I came here to read the reactions about Carrie’s performance because she didn’t sound good tonight, and I was wondering if it was just me. She was off, and the band was too loud. Maybe she was sick.

  • calliebeckett

After watching Pink’s performance….no excuses for anybody else…

  • Keyera Mullins

Just saw Carrie Underwood’s performance & I must say she did absolutely amazing. One of the only performers that didn’t lip sync.  It was definitely one of the best performances of the night. Carrie never disappoints in my opinion.

  • Jon Glass

Who lip synched? Justin did in only part of his performance. I love Carrie, but this performance fell a little flat.  She was off key. I don’t think she could hear herself.

  • Keyera Mullins

Looked to me that Usher did in part of his performance and same with Carley Rae, and I couldn’t tell if Pink was or not, but her performance was fabulous either way. Carrie didn’t seem off key to me, but we all have our own opinion. :)

  • Kesia Monteith

That’s what i was thinking. I wondered if she could hear herself and if the band was too loud.

  • OffLeash

Carly Rae couldn’t have lip synched much because she sounded off most of the performance.

  • Jojo

how come no body has Pitbull’s performance??

  • FinalFantasy13

I thought carrie sounded fine not seeing where the off key comments are coming from.. with the exception of the few notes in the beginning she sounded a lot like the studio version.

  • TFLS

Pink can do ANYTHING.  I’m reminded of her fabulous aeriel ballet for the Grammy Awards a couple years back.  She was singing live then as well.  Magical.

I’m getting sick & tired of Gangnam but that performance was damn right entertaining!!!

  • RustySax

    No Kelly??

  • Whatiswrongwithus

Omg!! Lol! PSY and mc hammer performance made the whole awards show worth it to watch!!! That was some rocking dancing from both of them!! And gingham style still isn’t getting old!!

  • lovetheusa1776

Gawd – that was so great – gonna watch it again.

  • chillj

I thought many people could not hear themselves last night:  both Kelly and  Carrie are usually spot on in their performances and even they seemed off.

  • Gwen

I will watch Psy and MC Hammer forever.  That was awesome!

  • Li Wright

Does anybody know if Seacrest was able to buy Dick Clark’s business.

  • iani

“Wait, Taylor Swift is Country? I’m confused.”

I am too and amazed how well works this country confusion, I think TS likes to play and confuse people/young audience. No matter what she’s really doing with her love-style that inspires many of her songs, the silly, fun and innocence factors are in her music and videos and work well for her success. Even the AMA performance has started with innocent Taylor in the white dress then going to a dark Taylor; I was distracted more of her big feet in those boots than all her transitions/metamorphosis in her performance.

  • dd999

Not being a rap fan, or pop fan, I watched a good part of the AMA’s anyway. One thing I’ve concluded like many others, is that Taylor Swift is in no way country and really should not be winning awards in that category! What I enjoyed was Luke Bryan’s excitement over winning an award. He was beside himself!

  • Taylor

Swift is a country artist who does country crossover music-heavy on the crossover! lol She still “self-identifies” as a country artist, so the country establishment is going to go with that. Besides Adele, Taylor sells more albums than any other artist. The country music world is going to claim her as long as she will claim them. They have a superstar selling machine who is representing the genre of country music around the world, they are going to embrace that.

  • RustySax

Rewatching some of last night’s performances, I cannot help but wonder if the latest crop of industry producers, directors and editors all go to the “ADHD School of Visual Arts.”

The constant 1/2 second camera cuts and back-lighting so bright it washes out the image creates such a visual overload that we really don’t get to SEE the performance at all, IMHO.  In some cases, it’s so bad, you might as well just listen to radio!

At least at a live concert, even if it’s ear-damaging loud, you get to see the artist and what they’re doing. . .

  • kmd23

This is interesting. The ratings for the AMA’s were very low. Good.
