The American Idols Live tour heads to the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit MI tonight. We’re on EASTERN TIME BABY! Show begins at 7 pm EDT.

    IMO they should just drop Firework. The song really goes no where.. but I have a strong dislike of Katy Perry too, so I am bias.

    Not doing Firework is no tremendous loss- Lauren never sounded particularly great on it anyway, and I never quite got the appeal of that song.

    Neither of them did at my show, TBH. Firework is my guilty pleasure song and they just did not sound good on it at all.

    We enjoyed ourselves a lot at the Detroit concert! Everyone was great. Of course, we have our ‘this years’ favorites: Naima, Haley and Casey! We could have watched Naima & Haley do 3 solos each easy — too bad they aren’t PTHB favorites:(
    Pia sang well, of course, but didn’t get that much applause. Perhaps others wished she had only one solo like Naima did, since Pia did come in 9th place. As pretty as she is, and as good as she sings, it wasn’t fair to have her in almost every number in the first half.
