Grammie Kari: just keep trying and good luck. The first single I got from ticketmaster was in sec. 201 row 1 which is not bad (at the Palace). That was about six weeks ago, I kept randomly going back to the site until the floor ticket showed up,When ever I tried punching in 2 tickets, best available, they would come up in the nosebleed section. SO, yeah, singles are the way to go! Gotta see Adam up close!!

Juan & Glamatheart -
I was in Tampa too and was waiting for 1 hr Adam, it was so humid, we're all sticky without even sweating. Fans were chanted for "Adam .. Adam.. Adam" many times really expected to see him on that M&G. Yes I agree with you, Tampa love their idols and they all gave a very nice welcome and cheering to all their idols. Even some people standing on their feet for all the idols and I loved that. But I too saw that Tampa is an Adam crowds. Everybody I met and asked they came for Adam. Even before Adam's intro began, crowd was chanting Adam's name and they're screaming like crazy' ¦ I was like my ears.. poor my ears.. and I thought the building would collapse. I've never expected to see that Tampa's crowd as an Adam's crowd, it is a Red State and 2008 is the first time it become a blue state. It's crazy but I am also very happy.

On M&G, everybody was out but Adam. I asked Lil if Adam would come out, she said he wouldn't come out since he's not feeling well. Then we asked Allison and Kris, when they signed autograph for me I asked them whether Adam would come out, Allison and Kris said he won't come out Adam's not feeling well. Crowd wouldn't give up. They kept on chanted for ADAM.. ADAM.. ADAM..... hoping he would come out. But everybody was in their best behavior and waiting patiently for him. It was late I got almost everybody autograph so I left a little before 12pm. We didn't know anything about the stalker and security stuffs.

If there's any truth of the stalker story, I feel sorry for Adam and us, the fans that wanted a chance to get a little glance of our idol, Adam, closely and now we won't have any.

I just read on a you tube thread that front row seats are $2,200.00. If it's true that is ridiculous. I mean I love Adam but never would pay that for any concert any where. Has anyone heard what the prices for tickets on front row are?

They put it on a bid.. the prices for first and 2nd rows are from $475 - $695; then 3-6 are $195 - $265... crazy.. I guess lots of Idols fans in here.. I couldn't really believe that people are actually buying for that price for front row (1 & 2).

I was at the Tampa show last night and just got back into town. Of course, I came right to MJ's to see this thread and all I can say is WOW. Really. I had no idea the show stirred all this up.
First off, my seats were good but not terrific. I saw the red thing thrown on stage and Adam picked it up and swung it around. Until just now I thought it was a bra. My sister, who was with me, did too! We never heard him say "thanks for the whip" but that's probably because my one peeve about the show was the freakin' band! It is WAY TOO LOUD. Bandzilla indeed! They drown a LOT out. GRRR. Anyway, besides that, the show was great. It was a real Adam crowd and that made me happy! I thought Danny got the next loudest cheers, then Kris, but Tampa showed all the Idols a lot of love, so it was a feel good atmosphere. I have to say all the idols were very good last night. Matt was a definite highlight and I never really got into him on the show. He looks so comfortable on stage and I felt very happy for him. Adam blew the roof off and was everything and more I thought he would be live. Mad World gave me chills and I thought I was tired of it. The Bowie Medley was insane - it was so good. I'm glad I got to see it live. I was a bit worried because next week I'm going again (hurray!) with my daughter and husband in D.C. I knew my sister would be fine with Adam's sexy moves but I worried about it being too much for my 11 year old. (Not to mention hubby!) I can honestly say that although I occasionally raised an eyebrow watching some of the posted videos since the tour began, live and in-person, it came across fun and exciting. The crowd around me was of all ages and everyone was standing and cheering and just going crazy. I cannot wait to share the idol concert experience with my family!

I had no idea about the stalker situation. That sucks. I'm sure all the idols have their share of crazy fans and I hope they are well protected!

I was at the Tampa show yesterday...I want to make a few comments concerning the barricades and the people waiting to meet the idols.

I showed up for the first meet & greet at 2pm there were perhaps 200 people there....we waited until 4pm and only Matt came out....wonder why? I mean I really appreciated it...but if he could come out, why not a few more? Why didn't anyone working there just come out and tell us that no idols would be coming out? The temperature felt like 100 degrees....and a blazing sun with a man nearby selling little bottles of water for $5

Ok..now for the part that bothers me....I have read several comments here about the barricades set up for after the show. I estimate there were maybe 1000 people but I could be wrong and maybe there was more. I walked around the barricades several times looking for the thinnest section to stand and hopefully get a view, a photo and maybe if I was lucky a signature. The crowd mostly consisted of parents and their children...children on the barricades itself with the parents in the back. This was not a unruly or frenzied crowd as some commentators have said here...I did not see any crazed or scary looking people here. At some points in time some of the crowd chanted for Adam..so what? I mean we had been waiting for over an hour. People chant Idol names in the arena..what's the difference? 9 of the idols came out and took their time and practically signed autographs for this entire crowd. Many people took photos with fans and yes some were even hugged by fans....Megan was hugging people, not because she was forced to but because she wanted to. I failed to see any of the negative things others have commented here... I saw a polite and patient crowd...there was no surging, no anger, no threats. The crowd was completely under control the entire time. I saw maybe 2 or 3 security guards inside the perimeter guarding the Idols....does this sound like enough security for a " large unruly frenzied angry crowd "? Adam would have been perfectly safe to come out, this crowd loved him. Now if there was a stalker in our midst...then that is another story. I could understand Adam not wanting to come out if he feared the stalker might be in the crowd. I never saw anyone wearing the so-called anti-Adam shirt. I had even scanned the front row with binoculars before the show started and I did not see anyone unusual looking.
I just don't think all these posts about a few bad apples pulling on a Idol hair or shoving a tongue down their throat reflects the reality of the average fan just wanting a photo, signature, handshake or hug. We love our Idols and without us fans there would be no tv show or tour. So you people with all this talk of just canceling all future meet & greets with the Idols are just plain wrong.
I would like to hear from others who were actually there the entire time....did I just describe the truth or not?

I've been reading comments on this site and checking in at Gossip Candy since the Idol tour began. In fact I get up way too early mornings after concerts to get the latest videos. I'm a HUGE Adam fan and also like Kris. The rest are fine-no animosity toward any. Hate is such wasted energy. Anyway, about tickets- I've always bought singles to get better seats at face value. Got one for the Palace on Aug.26! I won't be sitting alone-I'll be with other fans! Section A(floor) row1 !!

I read the article from Blecher this morning in the paper. I was surprised that he misquoted the songs of Kris. If I am not mistaken, he was a big Idol fan last year, because of Syesha, being from the local area. And I think his daughter has some kind of problem, and was a fan of David Cook last year, I remember her being on with him. Anyhow Belcher and his little girl were at a Ray's baseball game, she was throwing out the first pitch. I kinda doubt he was at the concert, he had to have taken the song list from previous shows. Sooooo, see how things are reported and the reporter isnt even there.

Yes, I did see Charley Belcher and daughter Lindsey at the Rays game on TV. Lindsey Rose is battling leukemia, and when Charley first interviewed Cook in LA, he told David about his daughter, and gave him an orange bracelet upon David's request, which Charley and Lindsey wear. David has worn it since. I think he even called Lindsey on the phone. There is a youtube video of David and Lindsey meeting last year at the St. Pete Times Forum. Very sweet.:-). And I understand that he met with her and her dad again when he was in Orlando for the AI Experience.

Back to Charley, I doubt that he would have made it to the show. They had some lady reporter doing the reporting and interviewing the fans at the Forum. Seems to me that they should have let her do the reporting for the paper, so that the info would be accurate.

Well he was orginally asking $650 but I talked him down to $525. I thought it was a pretty good deal

That's great. Glad you got him to come down on the price. I would have tried that too but I don't usually have much luck. haha

Did anyone ever find out today if the rumors about people in1 the front row last night with anti-Adam shirts?

I heard someone talking about it after the show last night while we were waiting for the Idols to come out. I didn't see anyone wearing the shirts so really don't know for sure if it's true.

Well, when Adam buys or rents a house, he better make sure he has high walls and good security.

Or better yet, in a gated community.

I'm thinking that it might get better once a new Idol season is underway, and the crazies transfer their obsession to the new "hot guy". But i'm sure there will always be a need to be careful and have security. Same for Kris, if people are attacking him too.

I think they should get rid of the fences and just extend the backstage M&G. Yes, fewer people will get to meet them, but at least it is a more controlled environment. People have been known to get injured in these type of crowd situations. That would be bad.
