Hey all, Stopping back in for the last show. So sad to see it all come to end. Being my first idol season, I’m feeling very lost (and I even missed most of it when it was live). I expect I’ll very likely watch again come January and hope to find someone else I love to watch and cheer on.

This is sad for being the last concert, but let ´s take it as a graduation party. All the idols (well almost all) have accomplished their objectives successfully, and now are ready to start a next move in their lives, their professional lives.

I have champagne and caviar for all of us. Let ´s celebrate!!!!

I am so glad I got to go to the concert yesterday…that was my goodbye concert, but I am sticking it out for this one too in hoping to get some closure and start having a life again.

This has been a summer I will not forget. I am a long time lurker. I rarely post, but have read every post on MJ’s blog. I have d/l a ton of videos and songs. It’s been very rewarding …. I have learned a lot. I feel as if I know all of you and if we all ever got together, we would be talking as if we were life-long friends.

I will soon be back in my other life watching Adam fulfill all his expectations. It will be a time to remember.

I have some chocolate tootsie pops and a box of tissues.

So now that the season is over it’s like last day of camp.

I saw the concert live in Boston, and most other nights I was here, listening to murky cellcasts and reading your very fun comments. It’s been an unusual summer. So big thanks MJ and the rest of you for all the wine spewed on keyboard moments (why does Michelin Man come to mind’ ¦damn I try to block it’ ¦).

I am so jealous of anyone who got a —gate at a concert. I saw LR and Memphis – both gateless!! But I did get to see both Kris get his hometown concert embrace and Adam’s first deep South concerts. So not too bad.

Another lurker joining in (late) for tonight’s finale and adding my thanks to mjs and ALL the peeps here for all the fun this summer. Like some of you, I’ve never “followed thru” AFTER the AI season was finished on tv – and I even went to the gig here in Pittsburgh (8/22)! I don’t think I’ll be posting other than this tonight – not sure if the ol’ WebTv (remember those late night info-mercials for the product back in the late 90′s!) can keep up – reloading the thread takes soooo long! Now I have to try to read the 200+ posts to catch up – I only read the first page when I decided to un-lurk! First time poster here. Have been lurking quite a while and went to Providence concert on Sunday. I’m sad not to be in Manchester tonight, and actually thought about buying a ticket after the Sunday concert but then my family would know I had completely lost my mind.

SpringTree: I had the first seat, first row, on that side of the stage. When Adam kicked it, I had my head stuck out trying to see his every move (humhmm). It barely missed me. A really sweet girl (20s) caught it and looked a bit stricken (figuratively). LOL.

Always the voice of reason, FHS, because I have almost an hour drive home and at the rate this thread is going, it will take me easily another hour to catch up. I’m sitting here trying to figure out … should I stay at work? But then the late workers will be like, “What are you still doing here?”

Plan B is I sit and read from my iPhone in the car, but that’s no good because at some point I’m going to have to get home. (Not to mention, I can’t have a REAL celebratory cocktail until I do that).

I was surprised it didn’t. I loved going to Biloxi to concerts when I still lived in N.O. If it had I would have flown back home to see it there, too (from N.O., now live in L.A.)

I had the first seat, first row, on that side of the stage. When Adam kicked it, I had my head stuck out trying to see his every move (humhmm). It barely missed me. A really sweet girl (20s) caught it and looked a bit stricken (figuratively). LOL.

Haha – I was in the 8th seat (last seat) in your row. I was standing tho. It made it pretty far then!

Finally was able to come on – helping son with homework – he’s ADHD and struggles so much. Adopted from Ukraine at the age of 7 – so a lot to overcome.

Got my chocolate lolly – A BOTTLE OF WINE – GOT HUBBY OUT OF THE WAY. Son going to bed, so I concentrate. Hope I haven’t missed much. I have listened and lurked for all 52 concerts, except for the one I went to in Charlotte. I think that’s a record !!!

This is my favorite song of Anoop’s set (Mad). It sounds like he’s putting a lot of heart into it tonight. Don’t be sad Alison, I think we’ll be hearing from Mr. Anoop again, he has such a beautiful voice.

No regrets. Within hours there was picture and video proof of the item, and Adam mentioned in interview he wasn’t happy. And like a total tard I felt like he was talking straight at me! I have been to lots of big concerts in my day and really think Adam is special.

Well, delurking seems to be the trend so allow me to follow it. Been watching these threads since I went to the Newark show (1st night) (what the FF is this???!!!!) and have really enjoyed all of your comments and updates. THank you MJ for a great blog. I am from Rhode Island and have to say after watching many of the videos, I think that the Providence may have been one of the best shows, and I think the best Adam Bowie Medley. If anyone else here is from RI you know its a kick ass rockin state and Providence is defnitely rocking town so I am glad the Idols felt that.

I also want to say I have particularly enjoyed all of your discussions of Adam’s hair. AGain, Providence my personal favorite. I like to call it “Kewpie Emo”.

Have fun all and thank you. What a great bunch of Idols. EVery single one of them has grown on me in some way.

I’ve been feeling low all day thinking about this being my last night with my fellow Adam fans and the whole A8 crew too. I think I’ve watched most every video and read every concert thread this tour, become a Twitter fan — and now feel like I’ve experienced something close to Woodstock with you all. :) I even listed to one cellcert.

Thank you MJ for being a super host and thank you for your pictures and videos too. I was/am a featured frau at VFTW (long story) so this was a safe place for me even though I lurked most of the time.

Thanks to everyone for their pics, videos and links and love and snark and truth and the laughs, well, for being here. I’ll miss you all and the concert threads dearly.

Evening Everyone……I can’t believe this is the last concert. The summer went so fast. This is my first year kind of lurking at mj’s and I have to admit it is my favourite site even beating AI.

I’ve mainly lurked here this season…same story, never followed AI before Adam Lambert, and so it took me a while to find this site. Like others, I have really enjoyed the intelligence and variety of personalities here. Your well written posts and your witty conversations have made my obsession with this tour more palatable to the rational side of my brain. I have never downloaded so many videos in such a short time!

Michael: for doing everything he could to get the concert off to a good start. (and he did good!)

Kris: for ending the concert in such a heartfelt way. I loved him.

I’ve been feeling low all day thinking about this being my last night with my fellow Adam fans and the whole A8 crew too.

Me too bottleblonde. I have posted more here tonight than I have all season but this party is great! Instead of feeling low, as you said, we should all be “feelin’ good” as this is the time all our idols can spread their talented wings and fly off into superstardom. Seriously, they all have a lot of hard work ahead of them and they are definitely going to need our continued support outside of MJ’s……..we can do it everyone!

Looking forward to the future for all of them, especially my fave, and I will not mention his fierce name. Good luck to all.

he is loving and he is a rare talent and he is still modest.
Kris: He has a good heart, he has a good attitude to life and people, loving as well. I wish him strength, he has a lot on his plate.

I lurk almost exclusively ‘“ but I’ve enjoyed coming here to read the often very informed and always very entertaining posts. Never heard of this site (nor followed AI for that matter) before this year, but saw the concert in Tampa (first whip-gate, first Megan fro-gate, AND stalker-gate), watched all the great vids on U-Tube, and can’t wait to hear ‘Time for Miracles,’  the albums, and read what you all think of them!

I’ve posted only once before this. I am from South East Asia but live in Azerbaijan most of the year so I am in a different timezone. I’m always just playing catch-up with the threads. Just want to say thank you MJ for the forum and other posters here for sharing pics and videos so I have been able to enjoy the concert. And yes, Adam has a fan or 3 in Azerbaijan.

This is such a bittersweet day for me. I can’t believe my concert was 2 months and 5 days ago. Man, that was one of the most memorable days of my 19 years. I even met Kris, the one thing I wanted to do the most. Now the tour is over. I hope they kill/have killed.

It’s been fun. I don’t really know if I’ll be following Idol next season (Everybody says that, then they follow. Odd.)

Hello Everyone! Longtime lurker, first time poster – anywhere! Thank you all for the very entertaining summer. I attended the Tacoma show and was so happy I could extend my tour enjoyment for so many weeks. I wish luck to all of the idols as they move forward in their careers. I have to admit this is the first year I’ve followed the show after the AI season, all because I am absolutely captivated by ADAM!!! I did get to see him close up after the concert and he was so incredibly pretty! Looking forward to following his exciting career.

I’m on the west coast and usually am reading your comments long after midnight here, as my rambunctious one year won’t let me near my computer for long. Today grandma is visiting and I’ve locked them out of the room. Don’t know how long I’ll get away with that – hopefully at least until the end of Adam’s set.

I hope this is true. The first time I heard AL sing, the first thing I thought of was Freddie Mercury and I remember making my Mother sit down and listen to FMs voice even though I knew she wasn’t a rock fan. I did the exact thing with AL, his voice takes my breath away.

While the posting has slowed down, wanted to jump in again and add my thanks to everyone. Especially MJ for such a fantastic site. This has been an amazing summer, sharing (well, me lurking mostly) this blog with people around the world. You’ve made me laugh, cry, and absolutely astounded me with some of the information you came up with.

I found the site around mid-season, during the “what’s Adam going to do tonight?” phase, and have been here ever since. And I plan to stay.

I would just like to say that I will miss EVERY ONE of the IDOLS.I got a feeling of closeness amongst the idols that I have never felt among the other batches.

If there is one sure thing that the idols will be getting out of this whole AI experience, its friendships that I think will last a lifetime.

I will be hoping for only the best things for each and every one of them…of course I’ll be rooting more for Anoop (and I’m going to particularly miss Manoop) but everybody’s great.
