4th Update: Adam held his twitter party with thousands of people participating.   Even FOX news noticed and reported on it.   Read the entire transcript HERE.

3rd Update: Some bright person threw (what looks like) a dildo on stage while Adam was performing. It turned out to be a child’s caterpillar thingy, but still, It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.

2nd Update: @adamlambert is supposed to have a twitter party tonight, but he’s got about 2000 messages waiting for him. I think we’re going to have twitter overload.

Update:   Adam tweeted: “Looking forward to tonight’s show! Unfortunately, due to doctors orders I need to rest my voice AFTER the performances…So I may not be attending after show meet and greet or autograph sessions. Thank you all for understanding that I need to look after myself!”

    A few comments on last night’s concert…… I had great seats! I was so excited! Section 101 Row C! First level up from the floor, very close to the right side of the stage. I thoroughly enjoyed each idol! My favorite is Adam, and I still can’t believe how beautiful, charismatic and talented he is!!! His smile just makes me melt!! I did not hear any fatigue in his voice. I hope that I don’t sound too crazy, but during a couple of his high notes in WLL, his voice sounded so powerful that it made me feel like he could blow the roof off of the arena. It almost felt like the arena and stage were too small for him! I cannot wait for Adam’s album and tour!!!

    I detected a few “chipmunk” sounding notes with several of the idols. This also occurred when I attended the Jonas Bros. concert with my daughter last month, also at Nassau Coliseum.

    In addition to being thrilled with Adam’s set, I also loved Kris Allen’s set which totally surprised me. I was not very impressed with Kris during the Idol competition. I felt he had talent, but he just didn’t excite me in any way on the show. Also, after reading many reviews and posts, I expected Kris’s set to be somewhat mellow and a let down after Adam, but IMO it did not feel that way at all! Kris is awesome!! He really rocked the arena!! And for some reason, there were a few moments where he reminded me of Bruce Springsteen. Not his voice, but perhaps it was the intensity and passion that I saw in Kris as he performed that reminded me of Bruce.

    Last comment…… loved Matt’s piano playing skills!

    So far there seems to be very few high quality videos from the Wednesday night show at the Nassau Coliseum. I am surprised and I am wondering why…?

    After lurking here, almost daily, for months now and Enjoying your Posts and humor and intensity, I have decided that you all are sanely crazy! :surrender_tb: And, I must surrender and join in with you!

    THANK You, MJ, whoever you are, for this great blog! Sometimes, I wonder how you keep up with all of this!! Kudos to you!

    I laughed at the comments last night about the dildo to child’s toy identity thrown in Adam’s set that seems to mean that most here are not real familiar with either toys since the discussion ran from “Eek” to “shameful” and it’s Adam’s responsibility.” Oh, no, it’s a child’s toy! And, should a child’s toy that can be misconstrued as a dildo or anything sexual in my mind be considered vulgar? :wallbash_tb: IDK!!

    More seriously, I love Adam, of course, and Kris and Allison from the show and the tour. More importantly, I love watching all of these young artists as they grow into their new roles. A lot of talent on that stage!

    I think the consensus now is to add “_____gate ” in the concert checklist along with Woman/Baby , emo hair or Bad Boy hair or what was the other one ?

    I think this is now becoming – Adam Book of Lists .
    Maybe we should also add new words concocted or contributed to Urban Dictionary : Like the Pre-Madonna .

    btw at parts it clearly shows the green toy that a woman is clutching in her hands, about to throw and start a dildo-gate! well she might night have known that part and just thought a green caterpillar toy was cute. I dunno. But back to the video, yeah different angle for Slow Ride and one that, allow me to fangurrl for a bit here (I know Slezak would approve) ZOMG! They are sooo effing cute! They so completely are having a great time, totally in synch with each other, can improvise with each other, and they make me smile watching them. LOVE the double twirl and dip at the end. You really see it in this video. Who knew a song I thought would get totally old incredibly quickly, is one of the ones that is the freshest with the videos because of what Adam and Allison bring to it. And yes, part of that are all the bras and whatever on the stage. So much as I sometimes get mj’s and clearone’s point, then I watch them and it kind of melts away. Sorry guys.

    I am enjoying the Adam vids from last night and that WWL was hot!
    Can someone please tell me what Adam did at 2:12 on this Slow Ride video. I have watched that part over and over and I don’t know anything about vocal technique but I have to say that was amazing!

    This to be added to the check list we have for each concert: you know:

    Emo, Elvis or Bad Boy hair

    Woman or baby

    etc.

    _____ – gate (insert the next issue that will turn out to be a non-issue)

    A few times when I’ve been looking at Kris’s concert videos he occasionally reminded me of Springsteen, too, vmac. He doesn’t sing like Bruce, though he does play the same instruments. I think, as you said, it’s his intensity and passion. Maybe also a warm quality that shines through. Anyhow — very nice comments.
