She might be having wild teenager breakout moments now and then but, for the most part, she’s gotten so much more mature and comfortable in her own skin. Not to mention the fact that she is looking strikingly beautiful. And professional too. She’s getting this interviewing thing down now. Better and better.

Just joined during Gokey. Yeah, I’m not too worried; The crowd sounds pumped on the cellcast. We hear about booing from time to time, but then others come forth to say they didn’t hear any such thing. When I was at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, we had Adam haters right next to us (it was difficult to contain myself — I really had to bite my tongue to keep from giving them an undoubtedly unwanted piece of my mind), but they were really drowned out by the rest of the rowdy and enthusiastic crowd.

Booing someone at a concert is so classy…. I would imagine that, unless they are sitting on the front row…the screams for Adam would wipe them out.

Mostly, I agree – but I did like the “sending to Matt” one. She was tweeting earlier like she is a personal friend of Matt’s and Adam took time to tweek #signmattg right before going out on stage. Makes her look really pathetic….

Well my comments about it went away, but yeah, Adam doesn’t get as much Twitter hate as Danny. And yeah, I would agree about Megan as well. But than I would say that much more of it’s personal to Danny and more performance based, unfortunately, for Megan. Though there are the Tweets about her looking like Whore Barbie, but that’s because unfortunately she does. Which is probably why Megan hates her outfit as much as the rest of us. Poor kid.

And I would say that Danny has tons of fans, seems like he’s been getting great receptions in the Midwest, first of course in Milwaukee, I’ve been hearing second only to Adam in Indianapolis, Madison, Minn., so he does have fans. I just don’t think as many of them seem to on the interwebz. Oh and I would posit that Adam gets the second amount of hate after Gokey, not specifically to these tour shows, just in general, and that comes out on Twitter. But Adam gets at lot more Twitter love than Danny as a rule, in my observation. So Adam does have it easier via Twitter than Danny overall and people like poor Megan for the course of this tour thus far.

From where I came from and what I have experienced, you come to learn that most people will come to like you for what you are. The narrow minded fools will not change. It takes too much energy to agonize over what they say and in the long run it is not important. Just focus on the many who have good hearts. The haters hurts themselves much more than they can ever hurt the ones they hate.

I have to go, apart from needing sleep, this cellcast is seriously making my laptop lag and it’s taking forever to post something. At least I got to hear most of Kris’s set.

Will, as the lonely Danny fan (poor me! I know!) I will attempt to translate Danny’s cousin Joel’s tweet into English. I think he was saying that having Anoop follow him will give him more cred with the girls. A compliment to Anoop, I suppose. It probably makes more sense in the context of knowing some of the jokes that Joel has made in the past. Joel can be very funny but I agree with what aek said earlier today that he can be annoying sometimes.

Eh. Really? In the grand scheme of things, it’s really not a big deal, imo.

Any type of hate for whatever reason is really uncalled for….. but this Girl is purposely spewing provocative comments. She is not voicing opinions and therefore IMHO is opening her self up for the same hate she dishes out.

I also think that it really is not necessarily important to keep tabs on who is getting the most cruel comments or which got the worst one. Even one for any Idol is uncalled for and just plain sophomoric.

Oh come on, I’m an Adam fan, but I think the ‘hate tweets’  are refreshing.

I’m an Adam fan, too. I don’t even bother joining these threads until it’s Adam time. IMO, the best tweets are the ones in response to what they hear/see, not the ones that pre-decide who they’re going to hate, so crayon fails on that account – reminds me of the people that announce before going to a show whose set they’ll miss to go to the bathroom. Not interested. But no way is Adam getting shafted on the negative comments compared to all the 9 others put together. Or I’m in an alternate universe.

So different question. Is there any chance of more professional videos being release? I know it seems late, and probably uninteresting to those who’ve seen the show. And some people (maybe lots) are happy with the fan videos. But I’m still waiting for good audio and not finding it. I want a decent copy of a latter day WLL. Oh and I would posit that Adam gets the second amount of hate after Gokey, not specifically to these tour shows, just in general, and that comes out on Twitter. But Adam gets at lot more Twitter love than Danny as a rule, in my observation.

Yeah, I think peeps are really polarized when it comes to Adam. It’s sooooo rare to hear someone say he’s just so-so for them. People either seem to love him or hate him. I think this will be helpful in the long-run, not just for Adam, but for all of those who have polarized audiences. When haters are present, it seems to make the lovers love more emphatically!

That was a technical error. I went to copy one comment and it copied a heck of a lot more then I wanted I corrected it. Mistakes happen but the best thing is they can be corrected. Give people the benefit of the doubt before you ask anyone to get anyone.

It’s just tweets. It does get to one’s nerves depending on which side you are on but but I don’t think it will hurt Danny or Adam’s popularity or record sales.

After tonight’s show 7 more to go and all the cussing, bitching, whining will hopefully be over – you better enjoy what’s left of it – those kids may not go on a tour anytime soon at least not for the rest of 2009, they need to get some R&R, promote albums (those who have them coming out in the fall), the others working to cut some deals etc. I am sure their first week after the tour they are going to have nightmares waking up thinking they have to get ready for a show or something! That will be soooo funny. Adam might hit a few night notes in his sleep, Allison might fall off the bed thinking she is all over the stage singing cry baby, Matt and Scott might start playing the piano and singing too in their sleep…..I think Danny might talk alot in his sleep….I really don’t know what to say about the others, Anoop won’t do those crazy things he has his head on too much for that kind of stuff – he is too cool. Kris probably will think he is still at the finale from back in May (shocked and at a lost for words), he is probably still not over that yet. Thanks, I’ve seen those before, and they’re good for audience video, but I’m talking GOOD audio, like with microphones properly placed and sized, etc. I don’t remember what the early announcements re iTunes vids said, but I had the impression it’d be more than just the one video of Kris. Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part.

Re Kris and his predictable plaid. He and Adam should swap gigwear for the last show. Maybe not literally – Adam wouldn’t fit in Kris’ shirt. And I know Adam said something in an interview about AI releasing some concert vids to iTunes. Maybe they are waiting till the end of the tour, when they can go back and really look at what they’ve got and release the best ones. I’m thinking optimistically here

Emo, I’m catching up, running back and forth trying to cook dinner (west coaster here), so maybe someone has addressed this…I hope so because I don’t know what he means! Something naughty I’m sure, but my “Joel dictionary” is missing this entry! If anyone wants to tweet him about it he will probably answer.

The AdamCast was great tonight. It was actually fairly clear for most of the entire concert — including Adam’s and Kris’ sets! That’s a nice change.

First of all, I made the comment before I knew what was being said and by how many people and second can I just say, MJ, I love when you crawl out of your hole and make comments like this because it totally blows the facade you try to keep up that you’re just an ‘idol blogger’  without bias.

I don’t really care myself, the only reason I brought it up was to correct the two posters who stated as fact that Adam gets treated worse than the other 9 Idols combined. At least as far as concert commentary is concerned, that’s just not true.

I agree with you MJ and I am an Adam Fan. I really think that Megan gets the harshest comments but again I feel that all of the hateful comments towards any of them even one is not right. I wish I had the power to stop all of it but at last I am just a humble poster on your blog and realize that people are going to make outrageous statements that are off the hook and there is not really anything I can do about it and most of the time it is best for me to just ignore it.(MJ you actually helped me realize this, and I am better for it). Even though sometimes it is just so hard to do sometimes.

I’m not exactly sure what he meant, but he was tweeting it at the same time that Adam and some of his fans were discussing Adam’s poem. Adam’s poem contained the line “rub one out.” So, I think he was kinda playing with that whole thing. Again, exactly what he meant, I’m not sure.

Important lesson ‘“ don’t be greedy . . . Even a lesser quality Adam Lambert video is better than no video at all ‘“ which is basically what happened tonight. Thought I had a cover and tried the camcorder again (a super show btw). This time the concert security waited until the end of Bowie and confiscated my memory card. So all you’ll see of Adam tonight from me is DSB (used my little point and shoot again). Hope someone else got some vids because Adam was awesome tonight! Please no kicks-in-the-rear ‘“ I’ve beaten myself up so much over my choice (I should have learned my lesson last night). Anyway, suffice it to say that Willie Nelson now has a great set of Adam Lambert videos and my 32 GB memory card . . . Obviously, next weekend I won’t EVEN think about bringing my camcorder.

The good news is I got some great videos of Matt – the crowd loved him. Those should be ready shortly along with some others from yesterday. I’ve ordered chocolate cake from room service so I can drown my sorrows (no tomorrow, no tomorrow . . )

…I’m talking GOOD audio, like with microphones properly placed and sized, etc. I don’t remember what the early announcements re iTunes vids said, but I had the impression it’d be more than just the one video of Kris. Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part.

Hmm…May indeed be wishful thinking as anyone with hidden audio equipment in the audience is gonna get crap – you can’t hide good mics and the non-directional stuff is just going to get the usual audience reaction versus good sound. So, unless someone managed to secretly patch into the actual sound system itself, I’m guessing the answer is “no”.

Adam gets hate comments for no specific reasons, other just plain hating him.

That may be true in general, I don’t know. Byt the Crayon person, whose tweets started this tonight, was mostly doing the old “my ears will bleed” kind of thing, the similar criticisms that Adam got during the season. My recollection, is that many of his tour tweet detractors are doing the same kind of thing. There’s other stuff in his real life far worse, no doubt. But the tweets and even the recaps, when they’re negative for him, are almost always performance related – if not his voice, then his dancing or performance aesthetic. That’s all fair game to either like or not like. Again, I’ve not kept score, but that’s the impression that this Adam fan gets from what I see here.

And, I’m no Danny fan, at all, but I know I’ve seen tweets hating on him before he even opened his mouth, too. It’s all stupid. Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything. Hating the haters is obviously part of the fun, or people wouldn’t copy those tweets into the tour thread. But it just seemed so implausible to me the idea that Adam was receiving more negative tweets than the other 9 combined.

Okay, I see this often, but what right does security have to confiscate your memory card? I think they are within their rights to ask you to stop filming or to toss you out of the venue, but do they really have the right to take your belongings? I can see why some would rather give up the card than get tossed from the venue, so I’m not accusing anybody of anything. I’m just wondering if they really do have this right.

I’ve noticed that security guards will sometimes overstep what they have the right to do and many people don’t know their rights. It is possible that they have the right to do this, it just seems odd. What if you weren’t recording anything? What if you just like tracking things with your camera? What is your avenue for appeal?
