Only 2 more tour concerts after tonight and they’re all headed back home.

Phil won’t be headed back Home (no pun intended:).  His intention has always been to move to L.A.  I am glad the tour will be done.  Phil can now start his solo career.

Is that two including their show in the Philippines? That was fast!

I thought it was 3 including the Philippines show, but there is some downtime between the last US show and that one.  The last US show is I believe Tuesday.

I think it’s always a bittersweet time for the Idols. Yes, they would like to move on and attempt to get things started on the solo front.  Obviously folks like P2, Jessica, Colton and etc. have it a teensy bit easier in the sense that they already have record deals in place and etc., while now the others have to hustle. But I think it’s also super sad for them when it all ends and they separate.  Especially for a group that is super close as this one seems to be.

No, I wasn’t counting the Philippines show.  There are just 2 more shows for the regular tour.  It seems the Philippines show will be something extra.  It’s not even listed on the official Idol tour schedule.

Speaking of which, all 3 of them have announced their record deals, but we still haven’t heard anything from Joshua. Weird, considering he’s already debuted a new song and everything. Wonder what the delay is about (?).

joshua also signed with interscope, so i think is more a management issue than a label problem.

I assume Joshua is signed with Interscope too, but have seen no mention of it anywhere, which is weird. Interscope never put him on their roster or made a webpage post finale, like they did with Phillip and Jessica. Maybe they are focusing on the top two for now and will release Joshua’s album early next year.

If this is true, Joshua is getting a bad deal!  From all of the tour videos, tour reviews and blogs I’ve seen and read, Joshua’s Man’s World performance is a showstopper and if the standing ovations alone haven’t gotten their attention by now (Interscope, his management team or ?) that this man’s talent is something special and they should aggressively promote him while he’s hot, then I can’t imagine what will! If we have to wait until next year, I feel sorry for Joshua and his fans.

Joshua is beyond talented and they know it.  If they do things right for him  he will be around for generations–I am thinking they are taking their time.  Finding the  quality  material he needs has got to be a challenge.
