Hello all, my name is Sherry, and I go by Dewyzechoice4me on Twitter. I have been an AI fan since season 2. While I have enjoyed every season, this was the first year I went to the concert. I will tell you up front just in case you didn’t figure it out by my username; I am a HUGE fan of Lee.

My daughter and I arrived early as I have a broken foot. I had quite a few people ask me if my daughter drag me to the concert broken foot and all. I laughed and said no I drug her along. We missed meeting the idols by just a few minutes. I was a bit bummed but super excited for the show.

I am not going to go into each singer’s performance individual; I will just say I enjoyed each of them for their talent and uniqueness. I did get to meet them (except Crystal) after the show so I will add a short thought about each of them.

Highlights:

Casey: What an amazing guitar player. He rocked his guitars. I was so shocked to see how tall and skinny he was. I have to say Casey has an amazing smile and such pretty hair! He seemed a little overwhelmed but excited to meet all of us.

Aaron Kelly: While I enjoyed him on the show, I was pleasantly surprised at how well he sang. I am a country music fan and could see myself buying his album. He found his niche. He was super sweet in person. I asked him if he was a Phillies fan, he was flustered and said “you mean the Eagles” I said no “the PHILLIES” he laughed and said “oh yeah the baseball team yeah of course”. It took a great picture with my daughter she was super excited. It was cute and truly memorable.

Siobhan: If you are a hard rock fan she was amazing. I enjoyed her performance and appreciated her talent. In person she was actually very pretty and had such sparkly eyes (glitter).

Big Mike: My only thought is “I’d hire him to sing at my wedding” (If I wasn’t already married of course). In person he was very funny. I had a girl behind me who really wanted his autograph so I had her pass me the paper she wanted signed. I asked him to sign it and he got a huge smile on his face. He went to move on to the next person and I was like wait you didn’t sign mine, when I was saying this I grabbed his arm. Not hard mind you! He gave me funny look so I explained that the one he signed was for someone behind me. I then said “oh my gosh I am so sorry” he said “what for” I said “for grabbing you and being fresh” He laughed and said “it’s okay baby”. We both laughed and then he flexed his arm….oh my goodness that is a HUGE muscle. Sure glad I didn’t make him mad!

Katie: On stage Katie was really good. I loved her outfit! When I met I could not believe how pretty she was. The first thing I said to her was “oh my you are beautiful” she gave me a huge smile! There was a little four year old girl behind me who adored Katie. She was screaming KATIE. Katie couldn’t see her so I offered to hold the little girl so she could meet Katie. The little girl jumped into my arms and then Katie’s. I took a picture of little girl and Katie. I was so impressed with how sweet Katie was. She really took the time to make that little girl feel special.

Didi: I enjoyed Didi on stage, but enjoyed meeting her more. She was so friendly and stunning. I have to say of all the idols Didi took her time and spoke to each and every person she could. It took her forever to get to us and we were in the middle. I appreciate how attentive she was to every person. The same little four year old give wanted to meet Didi.  It was the sweetest moment ever. Then Didi thanked me…I was like no thank you. I could not believe how gracious all of the idols were.

Crystal: What a great performer. She seemed right at home on stage. She didn’t come out to sign as she was spending time with little Tony. I think that is totally understandable!

Tim: I thought he did great on stage! He is one funny guy! Tim took the time to meet people who weren’t right in the meet and greet area. Therefore, it took him a little while to get to us. The girl beside me was a huge Tim fan so I was glad he finally made his way to us. When the girl beside me and my daughter asked for a picture he said “I only have a few minutes and then I have to go, if I can I will come back. I promise.” The girl beside me said can we have a hug instead. He was all for that. The funniest part was as he went to hug my daughter he accidently bit her shoulder. She was like oww you bit me he was like I know I am so sorry. We all laughed and then he gave her a HUGE smile and then signed her arm. I think she floated home!

Andrew: I enjoyed his songs and thought he did a great job. Poor Andrew I was so overwhelmed from meeting Lee I didn’t even no Andrew was in front of me. I looked up and there he was. I was like “oh my goodness it’s Andrew” he said “yep it’s me!”

Lee: All I can say is WOW. He was AMAZING on stage. I loved his voice on the show, but thought he sounded even BETTER in person! I was so excited I forgot my leg was broken (remember now as it is STILL killing me). My first thought when I saw him was man he is short! He was so sweet. He signed my shirt and picture held my hand and gave me a hug. I thought I was going to pass out.  I asked him for a picture and he said “of course!” The girl beside me offered to take the picture. I turned my head towards him just as he was turning his head and we head butted! Then the girl who was going to take the picture bummed Lee in the nose with my camera. He was like whoa!!! We all started laughing so hard! The security guy made him move on as he still had a lot of people to see. Sadly I never got my picture, but hey I have my memory!

All in all we had a great time. I was so impressed with all the idols and look forward to hearing them again!
