Sad that this is the last show but its been a good run and here’s hoping we’ll hear more from all of them!

Hail, hail, the gang’s all here….gonna miss season 9. Sigh

It went by so quickly! I’m really going to miss this group!

Katie changed her outfit. The black and white looks sharp.

I’m a little sad that it is over. I hope the future is bright for all of them.

Good luck to the Season Niners! There is some really good talent to come out of this group. I’ll be keeping an eye on them all to see how things are going.

This is it for me. These live blogs happens during my work hours and I am often peeking into this site while working. Ha ha. It is distracting and exhausting. Sad that its over but glad at the same time. Won’t be visiting this site so often now except if there is any news of Lee and Crystal and DC. Looking forward to their albums especially Lee and DC. Can’t wait.

Aw, I love to see the well wishes for the Season 9 crew. They really do deserve it, especially after they have been so thrashed in the media. I wish more people could have known how talented this group really is. Anything is possible in the future, though!

Siobhan used fake blood! Well she wanted to go out in a memorable way that is all her own for sure.

That’s awesome by Siobhan–she is definitely puts on a show! I’m going to go on rooting for this group too.

And Aaron dyed his hair orange?

What the…LNS in 5 parts and not a single actual sandwich was eaten?!?! Mike was sporting a sandwich on his t-shirt but it’s just not the same. *Sigh*

On the upside, Casey appears to be on the mend and looking quite fine… has he had some work done on his teeth?

Aw, I’m gonna miss these live blogs (and the tour). I really liked Katie’s outfit tonight…looks better than anything she wore all summer (or I’m just sick of the black dress with cut-outs and the turquoise and black dress). And as much as I love Lee and all the idols, I will be so ready to hear them sing some different songs! I hope we get a lot more LNS’s before the night is over…I think they are all going to scatter pretty quickly when this show is over. I’m happy they’ll get a little time to rest…but it must have been an incredible summer for them. Following this tour made my summer a lot more fun.

Wow, this is kinda an emotional time for me. Sorry, for some reason I feel like assessing this season :P.

Wonder why Aaron likes hair dye. Either way, he’s totally awesome.

…But can’t hair dye be bad for you? I feel like such a dad, that’s the first thing I thought of when Aaron dyed his hair. Again. His scalp is probably all gross.

At any rate, he’ll be the one I’ll have my eye on after this tour. As I’ve said a lot, I thought his voice had the most potential of any male this season. That, combined with a great soul and a mature guy = role model status for me and mancrush. I think he has the most potential to be a hit, along with Lee, Casey, and maybe Crystal. But of the four, I think he has the most longevity potential. Love that guy.

Siobhan will be my second. She’s so unique. And we need to get married and have Aaron be the best man. I never thought I’d have a celebrity crush on someone with a septum piercing. But she’s such an amazing person.

Crystal will be my third. I admit, after knowing more of Aaron and Siobhan’s personalities, Crystal sunk to third from first, but she is so strong and admirable.

Casey and Lee are next. Both, like Aaron, had star potential they somewhat lacked on the show. Casey’s also one of the nicest guys ever. Didn’t interact much with Lee, but he seemed really disappointed that he had a security guy rushing him.

I’m going to miss ‘Late Night Sandwich’ I wish all the best to the Season 9′ers. They took it on the chin and kept smiling and moving forward.

It was fun following the tour via these blogs. Looking forward to watching their careers blossom. I am hoping for the best for all of them!

Whatever you are sellin’, I’m buyin’. Casey James you sly one. Snuck up on me and bowled me over. You awesome guitar playing man you! And finally Mike….Big Mike that is….I love me some R&B. You have the voice, but do you have the magic. I just might be interested in what you come up with. I have no doubt your will record a cd. No doubt. On with the silly string!

Good thing the tour isn’t lasting any longer…Lee and Crystal would be out in their pj’s or underwear next! And a real thank you to Big Mike for all the LNS videos this summer…he really kept us posted with some off-stage fun and a chance to get to know these idols just a little better. Thanks, Big Mike!

I have loved this summer tour of the Season 9 and will miss not being able to hear about the show from the twitters. This has been a “great” summer and I wish all of them the best. . . especially my favorite, Lee. . . .I can’t wait for the new CD that I’m sure will surprise everyone. I will be watching the others to but this old lady’s ear for music will be turned toward Lee’s voice. Thank you all for the “Best” Idol season.

I’ve been enjoying the blog this summer and the Tour reviews. I will miss that. I really appreciate everyone who’s taken the time to write a recap and share their thoughts openly; and everyone who has loaded videos & photos and interviews. Thanks! And to blogger extraordinaire MJ, you host an awesome blog for news and manage to have posters stay civil between themselves… That’s impressive!

It’s an exciting time for these idols. It’s really now that it all starts for them really. I’m super thrilled that my 2 favs (C&C) this year got major recording contracts. I’ll definitely be following them and I’m anxious for their CD to be released… and I wish the very best to the rest of them.

I had so much fun checkign on the live blog every night, reading the tweets and all your comments. As a whole I enjoyed this season and the tour. Everyone I met was so kind to me and the show was fun. I can’t wait to see what is next for all of them, especially Lee. There are certainly many more good times ahead in the post Idol world. It is going to be fun to be a Lee fan!

i think this group is gonna miss one another. they had a good rapport going and they knew how to have fun. hope they were able to dismiss from their thoughts all the season 9 bashing they must have constantly heard about. wish them well. Casey, i will follow you anywhere….

And Lee took his jacket off for the first time!!! Well, maybe second time. I remember there was an outdoor concert when it was really hot and he didn’t wear one then either. I wasn’t really fond of that jacket so I’m glad it’s gone.

The media has nothing to do with it at all. I just found that Aaron and Siobhan appeal to me more than Crystal does.

Of course I’m still gonna be buying Crystal’s music, I have her freaking SHIRT and it is one of the best shirts EVER. Even if it doesn’t fit the way I’d like.

The tour people said this group has been one of the closest ever, it’s going to be sad for them to say goodbye. However it’s on to the new – and many of them will be in LA or Nashville so no doubt they’ll keep in touch.

PS I think Lee may have a change of image once away from the AI tour – I have the feeling he’s kept things to a “family show” and he may be less restrained. Even his necklines have started descending in the last few days!

Oh my goodness! What a way to end the tour! I just can’t imagine where this happened! Siobhan will have success beyond Idol. As some have suggested, she may end up on Broadway. Who knows? But it will happen.

I have found that if I attend the concert tour, I become even more attached to the Idols. Season 9 are a talented group of singers. All unique in their own way. I wish them much success and will be checking out a few of their albums.

Imkhemari, it doesn’t surprise me to hear that the Niners are one of the closest. I’ve loved keeping up with them. There’s not a dud in the group.

aprilfoolish, don’t you hope they have one final dinner together or something? I read on the headlines thread today that they are told what time to check out of the hotel and given their airline tickets and that’s it. Done. :sad:

Thanks for the memories Season 9! I was with you every step of the way – auditions to my first Idol Finale, Simon’s last show and the epicness of Bret Michaels and Casey James’ duet. I had hopes of Janell and Michelle making it further but glad to have gotten to know them.

To all the Top 10, best wishes in your careers. I believe there is a place for all of you and to Casey – bring it on Sony!

Well, I refrained from using the word “raunchier” when I posted, but that’s the word that comes to my mind for Lee! There’s a lot beyond that bland “paint salesman” image waiting to be revealed!

And I hope it informs his songwriting and his singing. Roll on the new Lee!

And the same goes for all of them, school’s out and they’re now on their way.

If it is anything like was reported last year. The idols are officially free to do what they want for the most part. They are checked into a hotel and have been give plane tickets home or wherever else they want to go. It’s a little different for Lee & Crystal since the tour is ending early. Kris & Adam had one show together and Kris had an additional solo show in the few days after the tour ended. Then I think Kris got like 3 days off then had to immediately go back to LA to finish his album. So, they may get a longer break but the real work is about to start.

Thaank you Captain MJ for manning this boat, I mean blog, this summer. You’re awesome!

I bet they are all having some sort of wrap party tonight. I think Lee and Crystal have the Ford Day event in a couple weeks but yeah they should have a few days off and then get working on the album pretty quickly. I think the others go home or on to whatever projects they are working on. It is probably the hardest for those who are unsigned to see the tour end and to have to go home.

MJ, I’ll add my voice to the thanks for this blog, and especially thanks for policing it to keep out the comparison to past seasons.

Oh yes! And MJ, thank you very much for this. Thanks for posting my recap of the show! It’s been a great season. Okay, maybe not on television, but the concert was fantastic, and this season produced the most people I will be following after this season.

How bittersweet. It’s all over, but I get to see Aaron, Siobhan, Crystal, and Casey go their own way after this.

Round about the tour beginning I had an eye operation that went wrong, leading to my being housebound for the last 10 weeks. I live in NZ so its been winter, and these shows happen in the middle of the day. Following them has been a lifeline! My wonky eyesight has meant I’m slow to read and slow to post so it hasn’t been so easy to join in the flow. But this, my first time as an Idol fan has been good, due to this whole website and its participants who have informed and entertained me on many levels.

Just finished watching the LNS videos….lol. I’m gonna miss Big Mike. I think he’s going to miss doing them too. I love his T-Shirt. Looks like he and Casey are Best Buddies. They’re always hanging together. It’s nice to see.

Thanks for the tour threads this year MJ. I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed going to an AI9 concert and especially loved Casey’s performance. I am totally going to be searching the blog for info on the progress of his album and can’t wait til it drops!

Thanks MJ for everything you do! I’d say for my first AI show&tour experience, it went amazingly! And this site definately helped with that :)

I’ll definately miss following this group of people, but they aren’t falling off the face of the earth. Most of them will be moving out to LA soon, and possibly continue tweeting once in a blue moon. As Lee has tweeted a million times, it’s only the beginning :)
