Makes no sense to me. A fan was reportedly told by DC that the last four Mavid dances would be a tribute to Zoolander.

From the busses regarding Archie(from loving archie):

he is looking at a poster from a girl who challenged Michael Johns to a robot dance. She drew all the Idols around it…she had their heads on the paper, with robot bodies….he was Archu-D2. He broke out in the robot dance, unfortunately, he caught us all off guard with it, that no one around us got it on video

It would be cool if Archie did a practical joke on DC at the end of PDSTM in Tulsa – maybe send him a message on MySpace to come up with a really good one to totally catch DC off guard.

I still like the idea of Archie getting out to the end of the catwalk and doing the kneel, extended arm thing first. If he wanted to spice things up, he could hand Cookie something goofy. This would also amuse me, because I suspect that, once DC stopped laughing, he’d pull the jump-up-and-down thing that DA does most nights.

That would be funny to see DC jumping up and down, however, it would also be funny if DA could somehow put a sign on DC’s back that reads:

That girls is Kara. We got an update from her after the show. She has video of David and Jason doing the robot. I don’t think she got Archie on video but I think she said she snapped a picture. She also got Michael to do it at the after party. She got a picture of Carly wearing a Mavid shirt. I love Kara and all her epic stories! The mave-brellas in Charlotte were hers, too. She’ll be updating her livejounal page with her full recap but she already posted a few pictures.

“Archie and Kristy come out while we’re waiting and we have a GREAT little convo with Archie, it was classic! See, we had a goal of trying to get ALL the idols to do the robot for us, so when he comes over first I tell him “Hey David! I met you in Rochester!” and he looks at me, smiles and goes “Oh heyyy!” It was so cute. He proceeds to see the robot sign and starts talking to Kara about it and then we tell him to do the robot and he was all shy at first he didn’t wanna do it and then he’s signing for someone and he’s still talking to us and I go “We don’t care if you can’t dance!” and he looks up from signing, laughs and repeats what I said! It was so cuteee! So he finally does it and he was the best of all of them! He was showing his moves like crazy! lol Love that kid to death I do! When he left he went running by and slapped our hands, it was adorable.

I’m almost positive that Archie can dance… and dance well. He’s just confined to his “Beautiful Girls” moves on stage–and even that probably took some coaxing before he agreed to do it.

But his cousin not only said he could do the Harlem Shake, but that he could really move well. And now he can do the robot? Come ooooon, Archie, show those moves!

I wanna see those moves as well….. We know he’s got them….

OMG, seriously? I lurrrrrrrrrve “Zoolander”. It’s one of my favorite Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson movies ever. I’m wishing I’d bitten the bullet and got tix to the Tulsa show now. That whole show will seriously be epic.
