    A blog from Brooke

    Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m sorry Cincinnati :(
To the lovely people of Cincinnati that were at the show… you were a great audience, thanks for your kindness! This afternoon I met many of you before the show! My apologies, tonight I was not able to come out to meet you all and sign autographs after the show as I always do,! Unfortunately I started to feel really run down today, and by the end of my set my voice was barely hanging on and I was starting to get the chills and aches and pains… nothing to serious I just need to get some quality sleep tonight, take it easy, and rest my voice. This is a great gig, but it is definitely physically and mentally demanding! Thanks once again, and I hope that you had the time of your life at the show! I’m going to sleep here in my bunk on the bus…. Detroit here we come!

    07/23/08 – AI Tour Show 16
    Current mood: calm

Well, tonight was a lot louder than Indiana. Right now I’m on the bus and it’s a ‘lil shaky as usual. We have a four hour bus ride to the next city. Right now it feels like we are in traffic….wait let me see….I don’t know I only can see the side view from where I’m sitting. I don’t know. Well, things are still great! I’m having a lot of fun.

The venue was really cold today. I had a scarf around my neck and one to wrap around my shoulders as well. The doors opened early today. So, we had to get ready earlier for press and meet and greet.

When I was performing my first song there was this little girl in the front row holding up a “GO SYESHA” sign. It was so sweet!

SO, I looked out the window again and it appears to me that we are in traffic. It’s more of an enjoyable ride when we are cruising the high way with ease. So, let’s think good thoughts…….

I got a stone today from a fan that’s suppose to take away worry. I also, got through the line today after the show. YOu have to be strategic about certain things and I have been and it’s working for me…… traffic is gone!

    Syesha’s Thought’s:

“Talk out your problems. Communication is the key!”

  • Jolene

Just so everyone knows, in return for a sign made for me after the show I will bring just a small autographed gift from me to you! So if I see you and a sign for me I will make sure to give you a gift!

So, in other words, Kristy has to bribe people so she’ll have signs? Man, that’s lame. I’m not a fan of any of the girls this year (OK, Kristy and Syesha, really), and their blogs are not helping them in any way, IMHO.

  • IGetCranked

Wow, I agree with Jolene, Kristy’s blog is really lame. That just sounds desperate. I just read this from a Jason fan and now I think it fits:

Kristy walked up the steps leading to our area. She strutted past us to the far end of the line without saying anything. I get the impression she is always following a script, right down to the head tosses.

  • IGetCranked

From the same fan.. Look at the difference in personalities:

Syesha walked past us to go back to the bus with Ramiele and said à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Look at all the females here!!! No wonder Cook won.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ Someone should tell Syesha that she doesnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t need to say aloud everything that pops into her head.

The first guy up the steps was David Archuleta, who was greeted with lots of screams. He was in a hurry, and said he could only take pictures if he was signing autographs at the same time. My husband (a closet Archie fan) said à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“I think you should have wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ and DA laughed and sweetly said à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Oh no, noà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬

  • Jolene

Syesha walked past us to go back to the bus with Ramiele and said à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Look at all the females here!!! No wonder Cook won.à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬

Wow, that’s it, I officialy can’t stand Syesha.
    Sour grapes are so unattractive.

  • CRB

The Cincinnati Enquirer has up a photo gallery from last nights show here.

One of the captions at the gallery says it was “a packed house”, so let’s hope some of them eventually decide to tell us about it. :devil_tb:

You’ve gotta love Kristy Lee. What is she going to do, bring a goody bag of pre-signed gifts and hand them out? :eek_wp: I can just see all the “other Idol” fans scratching out an insincere Kristy Lee tribute on the obverse of their DAVID, I LUV U placards for the freebie.

  • http://www.myspace.com/gwendolyndiane GwendolynD

Heh. Oh, Syesha. Guess it wasn’t her fault that she was in the dressing room when he got those 50 bouquets of flowers from the Word Nerds on Top 3 night. Let it go, Syesha. Let it go….

I did vote for her that once night…checking to see if her line was busy.

She just has a problem with tact. Not unlike Ms. McPhee. I can handle that.

  • Trina

Oh wow. For petes sake Syesha shut the hell up! Her blogs have been grating on my nerves as it but then to make that comment in front of fans? Wow. Don’t choke on those sour grapes, sweetie.

i like archie more and more as i keep reading things that make me realize what a great person he is

Actually, all of the captions say that they performed to a packed house  The writer of the captions is so creative. And in the gallery for the pictures of the idols by the buses, they said Brooke finished 4th in the competition.

And about Syesha, I guess she needs a better filter in her head. I still kinda like her, but she better find that filter soon.

  • Teresa

Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m a long-time lurker here and noticed that no one had yet to write a recap of the Cincinnati show. So Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll give it a try. It wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t come close to the wonderful ones written recently.

First, thanks to the tips I found here, I got great seats on the day of the concert by searching TicketMaster à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ 8th row, center section. My friend and I were thrilled to have these seats rather than the ones we had.

The venue was abuzz when we got there and it was nearly full by the time the show started. Lots of families around us. Lots of kids. But, lots of other demographics, too.

    Some random thoughts:

Are the programs really worth $25? I know but I bought one anyway.

    The crowd was loud!

Chikezie was a great start to the show. He really laid it all out there.

Ramiele was very sweet. Enjoyed her set.

Michael Johns really set the place on fire. Got the crowd back on its feet. BTW, he is very easy on the eyes.

Kristy Lee Cook was OK. My friend loved herà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ thought she will be a star. I wasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t as much impressed. BTW, that girl is thin!

Cincinnati loves them some Carly Smithson. They were louder than ever. She even commented that we were à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“louder than Utahà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . BTW, what is with those à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“gloveletsà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ? I found them very distracting.

Brooke White is beautiful. (I want her hair.) à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Let It Beà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ was great. Her voice did seem to be overpowered by the band by the third song.

Group song was OKà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ wish it had been some other song.

Intermissionà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ the little girls around us were getting ready for Jason and Archie. Signs were unfurled ready to be displayed. Glow sticks were purchased. Anticipation was in the air.

There was a lot of love for Jason Castro. à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Crazyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ was really very good but the crowd was so loud it was hard to hear him at times. I wish heà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢d loose the red shoes.

Syeshaà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ uh, the dress is quite revealing, please cover up those puppies.

The crowd went nuts for David Archuleta. I was never a big fan of his but he was really very good. The voice is marvelous but he still needs to work on the stage presence.

OK, here is my disclaimer. I am a huge David Cook fan.

The crowd roared as his intro was shown. The roar subsided a little so he could sing à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Helloà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . Saw a few people around us sit downà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ whatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s with that? Overall, he rocked the place! He was all over the stage. He commented on the loudness of the crowd and they responded with more noise. Hey, I really liked IDWTMAT when I didnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t expect to. No guitar on à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Billie Jeanà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ I wonder why?

Group songà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ some more shenanigans from Michael Johns and David Cook but I didnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t catch what was going on. Maybe some one else can fill us in.

Oooh, streamers rain down on us. I know Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m lame but I liked the streamers.

Overall, this concert was a lot of fun. The crowd really was loud. Several Idols commented on it and I think they really meant it. (But, I suspect they say it at all the shows.) All of the Idols are much better in concert than they were on the TV show. No pitchiness. No obvious nerves.

Bottom Line: Please go to the concert if you have the chance.

Another disclaimer: Spelling and grammar may have been harmed in the writing of this recap.

    ETA: Spelling corrected… I really can’t spell.

  • spritely

Thank you, Teresa! You are brave. Great recap, and your last line is very funny.

  • Jolene

    No guitar on à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Billie Jeanà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ I wonder why?

Great recap, Teresa! Here’s a video of the no guitar Billie Jean. Did it just get hotter in here?

  • kathrynTX

Well. The no-guitar Billie Jean video from Cinci started out pretty dang good. However, I don’t think I’m hearing things when I say COULD THAT PERSON QUIT SINGING ALONG? S/he is NOT in tune with David! LOL! Thanks for all the vids and reviews and recaps, all. Thank you again, mj.

Thanks for the recap. Apparently, there was a whole “genie-in-a-bottle” routine from Cookie and MJ this time. David rubbed the bottle/lamp, and Michael was the genie. The video is here. The shenanigans start at 2:19.

  • Jolene

Aww, let the girl have her fun. LOL
I can relate, because I was once at a concert recording a new song for everyone on that artist’s forum, and I didn’t realize how much the camera picked up my soft singing. People laughed at my out-of-tune-ness for days, but bottom line if I hadn’t filmed it, no one would have had the song.

Besides, I was way too distracted by teh hotness of DC to pay too much attention to the “backing vocals”.
    (;

  • AInoob

It looked like Michael was starting to do the robot with DC before he squatted down to become the genie, LOL. I like that the two of them try to have fun with this number, I wish more of the others would as well, the girls especially seem to strictly be sticking to the straight marching up and down the stage thing. This is an upbeat song, if you aren’t going to dance to it, then at least make it fun to watch. Who knew I’d say this, but Kristy sometimes actually seems to try and show some personality during this number (she usually does that come-hither thing with MJ but he one-upped her last night by picking her up, he seems like such a ham :laugh_tb:) and in another clip she and Jason looked like they were doing something and laughing it up.

Well yeah, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful! :blush_tb: I had to turn it off awhile ago but I shall watch the entire vid pretty soon here…cause I LOVE DAVID COOK! Love. Him. Thank you everyone for all your work!

  • Layla

David Cook sanfg his fuckin’ face OFF with the guitarless Billie Jean. I. Love. Him….and those pants do not get old video after video. He is so MFin’ HAWT!!!

It’s official for me too….Kristy and Syesha just suck. Kristy is basically talentless and yesha is just bloody annoying and filled with a strange type of sourness and arrogance.

  • ShariG

Thanks for the recap. It is fun to read what fans think at other locations other than the one you get to see. Layla, I so agree about the pants. In Indy he had to sit down on the stairs and relace them a bit. Very hawt! I’m so glad that the crowd continues to be loud and appreciative because these kids just sing their hearts out week after week.

Some Cincy comments–and I have not read any other concert reviews except the one above, so some of this may be old hat to those who have read about the tour in other cities:

This was the first AI concert in Cinci in 7 seasons. In seasons past, AI fans had to drive 2 hours to Columbus, Louisville, Indy, or Lexington to see the show. I think there was pent up demand as well as excitement.

Cinci was ready for the AI concert! The souvenir booth had long lines. Here’s some items I noticed:

    Pins–3/$5
Tshirts–$35 (some street vendors were selling some tie dyed t shirts outside the venue for $20 before the concert and we had offers of $15 and $10 for the same shirts after the concert)
    Posters–$10
    Programs–$25 (yikes!)

I went with a group that included a 5 year old, a 12 year old, and three 18 year olds as well as several boomer aged adults. Around us was a completely mixed aged crowd. Many more men than I expected were in attendance–from what I could see it looked like at least 25 percent men in the audience and was more like 50-50 mix of men sitting in front of me, in my row, and behind me. I saw all ages at the concert, including some that looked to be in their late 60′s/early 70′s right in front of me.

One group I noticed was a group of four 10 or 11 year old girls, dressed in matching black and white dresses, who stood for most of the concert. They seemed to be celebrating one of the girls who may have had cancer–her head was shaved. They looked like a great group of friends and definitely enjoyed DA when he was on stage. I think this group was shown on the big screen for a moment at one point during the concert. I enjoyed seeing the delight on their faces throughout the concert and wished for them that they remain friends throughout their lives. What a great memories they were making at the concert that night!

We had quite a few minutes with the Pop Tarts warm up session before the concert started. So, no need to rush to your seat if you are still in line for a souvenir, lol. The only thing you might miss is a free tshirt being shot over your head.

Chikeze sounded great. He looked like he had been enjoying the tour chow, too. I hope he gets a label and puts out a Luther-ish cd. The crowd was into Chikeze and he was not afraid to use the stage.

Ramiele braved walking down the staircase in one number. Otherwise her stage moves were limited, just like on the show. She looked great. While the crowd was quiet for Ramiele, she still got nice applause at the end of her set.

Michael Johns came out smoking hot. The place was on its collective feet. He rocked out the first number and had a lot of appreciation from the audience. :)
He sounded wonderful throughout his whole set and you could hear the “he got booted too early” buzz in the audience. He had thunderous applause and whoops at the beginning, middle and the end of his set. His “Dream On” falsetto was especially thrilling and appreciated by the audience.

A quick check on the three 18 year olds. They were delighted with the concert so far. They were cheering loudly with the rest of the crowd.

Kristy Lee was Kristy Lee. Of course IPTBAA got a nice response. She looked like blonde-Barbie -sings-AI. The five year old in our group liked watching her and cheering for her. Her uncle seemed to appreciate KLC as well.

Cincinnati really liked Carly. Her reception was second only to Michael’s in the first six singers. I agree with the demi-gloved comment in the earlier review. Our seats were in the lower right back side, and we had to look at them on the big screen to figure out what they were. At first I thought she may have tatooed her fingers! Carly, like Michael, seemed in her element on the stage. She looked fabulous and happy—happier than during the competition.

Brooke, like Ramiele and , later, Jason, did not move around the stage. LIB was well received, and on the next song, she delivered Feist’s song with some spunkiness. That’s all I remember from her set.

We got treated to a 6 person group number before intermission but the cause it promoted seemed disjointed. Were they donating part of the concertà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s profits to it? Were they looking for donations at intermission? In any event, it was an extra chance to see our favorites again.

Guitar Hero had the intermission and the warm up host had to keep the audience interested. The tshirt shooter gave away a few more shirts. I will say they did not shoot many into the back of the arena–the people in the center seats got the most free t’s.

Jason sounded like Jason–a delicious, mellow hug. When he sang WADFAD, we pondered whether he would ever put out a children’s album. He seems suited for it and I think he would have a huge following. I got a kick out of the red shoes. From the back of the arena, you knew it was Jason’s way of being himself. After the concert I saw a Jason fan wearing a knit cap with dreadlocks attached to it and she also had on a tshirt saying something like “Jason Castro has me dead locked with dreadlocks” or something like that . We went by her so fast I did not catch all of what it said. Jason got a great reception and you could tell there were many, many Jason fans in the audience.

Syesha was a surprise. I have not been reading the Ai fan boards so I did not know about the boob job. One of the adults with us works in the medical field and assured us it was most definitely a boob job –that duct tape could not create the rounded appearance she had. She had a nice reception, the audience was good to every performer last night. But she knew who they were there to see and after her third number she introduced David A.

The piercing shrieks! The screaming! No doubt who makes up the majority of the DA fan base. The five year old with us waved her autographed DA poster and woo-hooed with the best of them. The girls in their black and white dresses looked like they were having a fantabulous time as he sang “Angels”.

Even I, a non DA fan during the show, thought he sounded good on his first two songs. I did not hear the asthma on those two as I had on the show. When he sang SBM it came back a bit, but what the heck. For 17 years old… he was doing a terrific job.

And then he introduced DC. Thunderous applause. Nearly the whole place seemed to be interested in his performance. He roamed the stage and stood on the railing to sing for the crowd at one side and then roamed to the other side and did it for them, too. The audience roared for him. We were rewarded with a David C encore, BJ, after his usual set. And, yes, just like on the videos, as someone mentioned, people were singing along with him on that one. The camera focused in on DCà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s guitar at one point–on the à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“ACà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . It made me happy for DC all over again that he won and could share the AI experience with his brother. When DC sang the TOML song, I was impressed with the amount of people in the audience that knew the words to that one. The power of AI and marketing its winner!

One thing I noticed was that David C, DA, Jason, Carly and Michael all did familiar material–either what they had sung on the show or a song that a majority of concert goers would know.

Chikeze, Ramiele, Brooke, Kristy, and Syesha all did at least one number that the audience was not as familiar with. A word of advice for them and future AI top ten performers: sing something people know. It is already a concert where we expect you to sing à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“other peopleà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s songsà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . Make it something the majority would know. Some of the selections seemed to pale in the arena venue–hard to get the words with the bass bouncing around so much. Which is why it is better to go with a song that most know. For example, KLCà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹s last song was à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“something Cowboysà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (did not catch the first word). If the crowd were an entirely a country crowd, then more people would have likely known that song. As it was, from looking around the arena, I would surmise that maybe 10 percent of those there knew that song.

I thought the encore group number was a great choice for ending the concert. The upbeat song gave us a chance to see all of our favs again and to enjoy MJà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s antics–picking up and carrying KLC at one point and the genie dance bit with DC. Red and blue streamers rained down at the end, signaling to the audience that this was the end of the concert.

The audience was very happy at the end of the concert and very few people left early. What more can you ask for? The twelve year old in our group had been to the AI concert last year and found this yearà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s concert à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“much betterà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ as far as singing goes. But if they could have the concert in an amusement park like last year (the Indy fair), then that would have been à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ for her! The five year old was thoroughly thrilled with her first concert.

We climbed in the car and chatted along our way home. Who was each personà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s fav of the night? What about Syeshaà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s boob job? Would the autograph seekers get their autographs at the busses? When we were dropped off to get in our own car I noticed some other people doing the same commuter thing. One woman, who looked like she was in her late 50à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s/early 60à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s, was climbing out of one car and getting into another. She as carrying a telltale red plastic bag. I called out à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“did you go to the AI concert?à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ She replied: à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Yes! Wasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t it just wonderful?!à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . I would say that sums it up. For an AI concert starved Cinci fan base, the concert was wonderful. Not like seeing someone like Bruce Springsteen, it was not that kind of a concertà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦but instead it was seeing people you are happy for and were happy to cheer for because you had gotten to know them throughout the AI season.

Many of the performers talked about how loud the Cincy fans were and how much they appreciated the fansà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ spirit. Carly even compared us to Utah and said we were louder than Utah. (DAà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s home turf!). Go Cinci! Glad we showed à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹em.

  • spritely

What a lovely recap, Dusty. I really enjoyed it. Thanks. It’s very cool that your group had such an age range and that all of you had fun.

  • ShariG

I just wanted to add after reading some of the earlier posts that in Indianapolis and in Chicago I was really impressed with Kristy Lee and how gracious she was to the fans. She just kept smiling and signing. As a David Cook fan first and foremost, I didn’t pay that much attention to her during the show. But she really was very sweet to the fans who were lined up to see priimarily Jason, Michael Johns, and the Davids. It has to be a little bit hard to always know for the most part people are there to see the guys. All of the girls were very nice in Indy.

  • kathrynTX

David Cook sanfg his fuckinà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ face OFF with the guitarless Billie Jean. I. Love. Himà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦.and those pants do not get old video after video.

Why yes, yes he did! I’m glad I got past the other person singing along on that video cause it’s well worth watching & listening to David sing that f-ing song the way he does. The background singer was actually kinda entertaining. And only shows that singing, at least singing WELL, is not everyone’s special talent LOL! I just can’t wait for Mr Cook to get to Dallas, and then KC cause I’m going to that show too! And maybe Tulsa. Wouldn’t it be great to see him do the last Idol show in Tulsa? We want a David Cook tour! Oh we’re gonna wear this boy out. I hope it’s everything he wanted.

    Syeshaà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s Thoughtà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s:

    à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Talk out your problems. Communication is the key!à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬

I just can’t take it anymore. Who gives a shit about Syesha’s Thoughts? (apostrophe not necessary I might add)

I really need to stop reading her blogs. She’s obviously writing them with 12 year old girls in mind. Poor lost little girls that need Syesha to inspire them. I just don’t need Syesha to enlighten me. Probably, the 12 year old girls don’t either.

And Syesha, if you do want to be inspiring, you should probably try some platitudes that aren’t so obvious and lame.

    My thought’s:

Too much talking out your problems will make you sound loopy, especially on myspace.

    Some random Cincy thoughts:

I was there! The audience was unbelievably warm to all of the idols! I’m not sure why Syesha was upset, the audience was really loud for her and I thought to myself, “Okay now here’s where several of the votes for her came from!”

I also got to meet several of the idols before the show. Carly, Ramielle and Syesha didn’t come out.

Awesome show! I concluded that I would go see MJ, Brooke, Jason and DC in concert if they came around here on their own. Every single song in each of their sets were right on and so well done.

Of course I had already known I would go see DC even before the concert, and before seeing any concert vidoes! I had wondered why his Billie Jean was so hot and then it wasn’t until toward the end I realized he didn’t have his guitar! I guess I won’t watch the vid, don’t want to erase the wonderful memory from my mind!

We headed back to Dayton on 75 N and must have been stuck in the same traffic Syesha mentioned in her blog! LOL!

One more thing, I noticed that someone had on a pink tye-die t-shirt at the concert with the top three on it. I thought, oh how nice, since Syesha isn’t getting a lot of promo.

Once we got to the walkway between the arena and parking garage I saw a security guard walk by and heard another one talking to him on the radio about someone not having a vendors license. A little bit later I saw him in the stairwell talking to a guy, checking i.d. and giving a very firm warning. In the meantime another guy walked out of the garage part with several of those pink t-shirts on his shoulder. I thought uh oh there’s the first guy’s cohort! He started heading over to the stairwell and caught a glimse of the security guard. He headed in the other direction, and I have never seen someone walking so fast while trying not to draw attention to himself. He headed down an outside set of stairs. It was quite an interesting scene to take in. LOL!

At one point I wanted to warn the guy and then I wanted to rat him out. I did neither! heh.

Zookie, have you seen her since the tour started? The dress she wore for her main set was designed to show off her breasts (and legs). She is an attractive girl showcasing her assets. Her breasts were very prominent and very round–and highly set with a lot of cleavage. We wondered if tape could be used to create the effect. Someone who was with us and participates in plastic surgeries told us that the shape of her boobs and their placement was most assuredly a boob job. She even suggested which implant size she probably had. That’s why. It was a collective opinion.

It’s noticeable, the way Kellie Pickler’s job was noticeable. Not saying anything is wrong with it…they were just so…prominent.

Is it ok to post links to pics here? The Cincinnati Enquirer site has 22 photos from the concert including a picture of David Cook standing on the railing at one end of the stage, surrounded by eager fans; another that is a close up of Syesha, and one of Michael carrying KLC. :)

We saw the journalists/photogs come in after DC started his set, so all the pics appear to be from the end of the concert.

I mean, her boobs were always really big and round. I’ve seen pictures of the tour and i didnt notice anything different. I’m hanging out with her in a few weeks, so i’ll ask her about it, but i’m going to guarantee she didnt have anything done. Look at the pictures on her myspace of her with the mowhawk in the black bikini on the beach. those boobs are all hers and they were that big back in 9th grade

David Cook didn’t sing Billie Jean with a guitar on the actual show, so it kind of makes more sense that he didn’t at the concert. It’s actually much hotter without the guitar. In case anybody forgot why he won the title, this video is proof. (But yeah, the background singer was reaaalllllyyyyy annoying).

In the last group song, I love the fact that David C. sounds the best even though the song is far from his usual style.

    He’s so hot.

Well yeah, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful!

I don’t think you don’t sound ungrateful. I’m with you, I hate when people sing along. Leave the singing-along for when you’re alone in your car. ;) .

Syesha was a surprise. I have not been reading the Ai fan boards so I did not know about the boob job.

Everyone keeps saying this. Weren’t you guys watching on Top 11 night? She had her “vote getters” out in full force that night.

Too bad Kristy Lee has to beg for signs. There were so many girls that should have been in the Top Ten because they can sing country. Too bad Syesha has an attitude. She has achieved her perceived Diva status. I enjoy watching her, but something is missing.

    Thank you for the recaps!

For those of you who would like to see a GREAT video of guitarless Billie Jean, here is a link to a video that was uploaded today. Enjoy!
