I should have gone to AC too. I toyed with the idea, but ended up not doing it. I’ll just have to wait another week and a half. :-/

It’s really amusing to read the reviews and chuckle at how clueless some of these reporters are regarding the breadth of David’s fans… Lotta subsets of ARCHIES are beginning to come out of the woodwork. OMG, is Syesha for real? I might have to start calling her MEyesha, which doesn’t sound as good as KimberMe, but is just as appropriate, if not moreso (I really wouldn’t know, I haven’t watched season 2).

I honestly do not know what to make of Syesha’s blogs. I guess they’re really not meant to be taken seriously? Just random thoughts, perhaps? Because I usually make an effort to read between the lines when people talk, to try to understand a person’s point of view and hopefully learn something from it, but with her blogs, I end up more confused than ever. I didn’t get what she was trying to convey at all. Oh well, as long as she’s happy . . .

This running gag has become like the Simpsons’ couch. I am eagerly tuning in every morning to find out what they came up with last night.

Thanks for posting Sy’s blog. Not cryptic to me at all. She hated the arrangement of her second song, but for a while she didn’t do anything about it. She wants the fans to enjoy the set so she finally had the nerve to go to someone and work it out. It worked. She’s happy, the fans are happy. Well at least some. And that is the end of Translating For Syesha on the Education Network, lol.

Anyway she does seem to have issues. But she sings the snot out of Listen, so I gotta give have her back for that reason if nothing else. I’ve got issues too, lol.

while i know why you guys all find syesha’s posts hilarious, i do understand her on this one. it is SO hard to perform a song when you’re not happy with the arrangement, and it’s even harder to tell the people playing it that way to change. i’m sure it’s intimidating with these musicians that have been playing forever. i actually give props to her on this one.

I’m glad you guys are enjoying the Mavid compilation. I’ve already edited it with some new clips and captions at the beginning. I’m waiting for the next Mavid dance to re-post. I’m planning to give Michael and David a copy when I go to the concert in Grand Rapids. :grin1_ee:
