Bria Anai Johnson was only 13 years old in 2010 when she performed Christina Aguilera’s song “Makes me Wanna Pray” in this video. At such a young age, the girl definitely has something going on. Her youthful exuberance is infectious.
Bria is apparently 16 now, and seems to be doing a solid job of promoting herself. Check out her Twitter, Facebook and Youtube channel. She also has a Soundcloud with what seem to be original songs. Bria has a fresh, contemporary sound. Urban singers have had a tough time on Idol. Lets see if the new producers do a better job of promoting them. This girl is pretty good!

According to her Facebook profile, Bria attends the DeKalb School for the Arts in Atlanta, GA. She’s lived in both Decatur and Lithonia, Georgia. She also took part in a play called Superstar Dreamz: The Musical. It looks like some sort of Fame deal.
Her Youtube channel is full of covers from the likes of Adele, Etta James, Beyonce, Jesse J., Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston, Bruno Mars and more. There’s a song “Boyz Talkin ‘Bout” that she calls her next single.
