According to Idol Pad, it turns out there will only be a Top 30, as the last spot will be a wild card for America to vote on.
Ben Briley and Neco Starr will face off for the last male slot in the Top 30, as there is apparently not enough room for the both of them. America’s votes will decide which one advances, essentially eliminating the other one in 31st place.
No Idea how or when the vote will happen. Maybe at the end of the Hollywood rounds, when the semi-finalists are chosen, there will be a vote, with the results revealed during Rush Week. Check out the full Idol schedule HERE.
