Big Machine Records artist Trent Harmon made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday (Aug. 27). Harmon was named the winner of American Idol in April, marking the series finale.
During his Opry set, the American Idol winner performed Chris Stapleton’s “What Are You Listening To” and his debut country single, “There’s a Girl.” He is currently preparing his debut album scheduled for 2017.
“It’s an honor to be here tonight,” said Trent. “I feel so blessed to be able to share this incredible moment with you and all of my fans.” Read more at Music Row.
The day of Trent’s debut, the Opry allowed the singer to take over their twitter account. Follow Trent’s journey as he prepares for one of the most exciting nights of his life. Afterward, there were friends, family and CAKE. Congrats Trent on your big debut.
