Get outta my head. That was something that stayed with me for a while last night and I just kept running over that in my head. Why bring it up at all?

You know I noticed this and couldn’t forget it. I’m glad that I am not the only one. But now that some industry insiders are starting to comment, it appears that coming is second may have been better then winning for Adam. The concensus is that 19E will give him a lot more freedom to do alternative music since he’s #2. I don’t know if this is true, but I hope so.

Adam is still getting more press, and good press. Adam has more fans on his official fan site than Kris. And there didn’t appear to be much “anti-gay” BS in the voting. So all things are looking really bright for Adam.

In the meantime, I feel kinda bad for Kris. Not only does he have to try to sing that aweful Kara Song, but I think that 19E plans to make him into a Country act. They put him with Keith Urban in the Finale and I think that is where they see him. (I agree by the way.) And he’s not much like an Idol in his press appearances.

Finally, I just rewatched Adam’s and Kris’ performances from last night (except for Kara’s song which I hate) and there was only one Idol on that stage. The one who got compliments from Santana and Queen.

This is what I couldn’t understand ….. and the song seemed to go on forever.

I thought that Anoop, Matt and especially Scott were shortchanged .. I understand that Scott’s duet fell through, but I don’t recall him even getting a line in any of the group numbers .. unless he was singing some of the stuff when the camera was elsewhere on the other contestants.

… or perhaps it could of been the fact that in the group numbers I couldn’t take my eyes off Adam, no matter what he was doing? …lol

I know that Adam and Kris’s duet was a completely different type of song to the Kris/Danny duet, but it just showed the difference in a duet when the people singing it have chemistry.

AND why did Ryan predict the Top 4 on the most popular talk show way back on March 7th??? Were Allison and Kris even remotely popular at that time…….NO! If mj would let me I would post the article.

this was crap! the finale is supposed to be the last time we’ll get to see all of them together and give them another time to shine, but instead they have to setle for 3 lines of a song? because they were to busy promoting the ones that are ALREADY EFFING CELEBRITIES?… and to all of you here who are saying that they sounded mediocre.. how can you judge them based of 3 words?…

I just watched the Queen vid again. Im in a puddle. The 2 guys look as if they are having the time of their lives and they reek of admiration and love for one another. Thats a beautiful thing.

Because I couldn’t wait until this evening, I decided to risk the puddle and watch my favourite bits from last night again, while sitting at my desk at work. This final duet was for me (for them – heh) THE best Top 2 song EVAH.

“…/no time for losers ‘cuz we are the champions of the world… /I consider it a challenge before the whole human race and I ain’t gonna lose… /and we’ll keep on fighting til the end…” Can’t get any better than those lyrics, IMO.

ROFL at Kris’ accent and/or lack of enunciation. “…I’ve paid my dues time after time I’ve done my sennence but commited no crime…”

My puddle-moment: Adam’s oh-so-fierce “I’ve had my share of sand kicked in my face but I’ve come through!”

[sigh] I love these two. KRADAM FTW!

P.S. Did anyone notice Mombert’s fingerless gloves (in the bellydance world we call those gauntlets)?? Love it.

To be honest, unless you were on the web, I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t think you would have known that Lambert was gay.

Ummm, nope. I wasn’t even really paying attention to the show itself, let alone reading anything about it on the ‘net, until I heard Adam sing ‘Satisfaction’ and ‘Black or White’. But I did see his audition and his little bits during H’Wood week, and my first thought was “Hey, this guy’s cute – aaaand definitely not straight.” Until he did ‘Ring of Fire’ I hadn’t read a single article or blog post.
