I wouldn’t say Lil Rounds is full of herself. She is confident and knows who she is as a singer so maybe the confidence is what came off as being full of herself to some people.

I would love to see Felicia and Jorge Nunez make it through. I really don’t care who else makes it through I just hope it’s not Alex!!

Now I know who Scott reminds me of, the lead singer of the British group “Take That”. yeah that’s it. Gary Barlow was his name, I have like one cd that I got from a friend like 10 years ago. The song was “Back for Good”, I use to love that song. LOL. Scott is ok but I don’t think he is going to win idol but it’s going to be interesting to see if in fact he makes it on tour how it will work. Is Castro singing tonight?

That’s how I saw her too. Not arrogant, just comfortable and having fun. I wonder if they’ll follow the pattern and announce her safe last. And in the role of crazy wingnut of the night …. hhmmmm ….. Nate?

Well, after rewatching some vids (thanks MJ!) in light of some comments, I still thought Scott was overrated. Perhaps part of it was that particular song, and part of it the vocals, but he certainly did nothing for me. It’s pretty obvious he’s going through, so I’ll keep an open mind about him.

I think the best performers of the night were Lil Rounds, Felicia and Jorge.

I didn’t see how Lil Rounds was full of herself. She seemed happy, enthusiastic and confidant. I guess some of you are seeing something that I’m not.

I struggled on whether to put my points on Jorge or Felicia as the third person to advance. I decided on Jorge. I’m not at all confidant. LOL.

Yeah, besides Scott it was pretty cringe-worthy the way the judges treated Jorge. Paula and her “do it again! ENTERTAIN ME WITH YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE” was so stupid.

Two words Normund Gentle, that was epic! I tell ya, really it was. OH and Adam’s “Satisfaction”, it was win win to me. I watched it several times. But that was really it, the rest was just meh.

I still don’t know if it is going to be Felicia/Jorge/ or Ju’not moving through this week, crap it could even be Nate.

Scott and Lil is in it for sure but who else??????????????? I know I am going to pick the wrong one and lose my points. Maybe I will spread them…hmmm..

thereÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s one thing that I see on him that I donÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t see in many this season, he connects with the songs. Last night, there was feeling there, and thatÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s more than I can say about 3/4 of the 36 contestants.

I don’t think Scott is that great of a singer.

I don’t think Scott has that much charisma/personality.

I’m not really a fan of Scott.

But that man has passion when he sings and even I, who isn’t a fan, can see that. He isn’t the best singer. I don’t find him engaging, but I watched his performance with the knowledge that I’m not a fan of him, but still felt a strange surge of connection with Scott just because of how much he connected with the song that made me feel something.

And while I don’t like Scott, this competition does need someone who actually feels what he sings, not saying that some don’t, but I felt more from Scott’s “Mandolin Rain” than I felt from Douchebag Gokey’s “Hero” because with Scott it truly felt genuine.

This season is lifeless. No Jason Castro, no David/David, no Carly, no Brooke no MICHAEL JOHNS…..even Syesha……I don’t know. Is it the format or is it the lack of talent? I am not sure. There is definitely SOME talent among the current ranks…….

Von reminded me of Clay too, in the exaggerated mannerisms and overwrought presentation. But not in the voice, Simon was wrong about that. Von’s voice can’t compare to Clay’s.

Actually I watched Von again today and I still can’t see the attraction. He was bad kareoke to me.

I couldn’t take my eyes off Alex. He reminds me of Tom Green. He’s really funny in a totally unintentional way. Or, is it intentional? It’s hard to tell…like Tom Green. Much of it is just his personality. So funny.

Yes, ITA. After rewatching Jorge, I really have to give him credit. While learning the song, he also had diction lessons. Can you imagine the concentration needed when delivering the song as certain judges require? In the old format, he would have had a few weeks to work on this. Kudos to Jorge for sounding so well.

Hopefully, he will make the TOP 12 and I can see which Motown song he will choose.

I am anxious to hear what song Anoop will be singing tomorrow night!
