I’m sick of the Danny pimping already.

In regards to Simon’s question about where’s Bucky, I hope that someone contacts Simon to tell him that Bucky is in Europe, entertaining the troops in several countries for the USO.

I also felt we knew the contestants better. I do not like this format at all, especially when there were 5 really good performances last night. Poor Ricky, he was really, really good!

The TOP 12 will only be a split IF the judges arrange it that way. They have the control with the Wild Card Choices.

I also saw Stevie’s because her audition was great. It was really disappointing.

Anoop didn’t disappoint me at all (Probably biased because his song choice is one of my favorite songs of all time).

Overall, I was pretty disappointed last night. Danny was good, Anoop was decent, Alexis and Ricky were also good. Michael Sarver, Brent Keith, and Stevie Wright were early favorites who crashed and burned (Well, not Michael). What also disappointed me was how good Tatiana was. I don’t like her. She’s a scary psycho with a creepy laugh.

Anyway, I liked Alexis a lot and actually voted last night for her. Even my Idol-deficient husband popped in to say “wow, that was good!” I was hoping for more from Anoop but I still love him so I voted for him too. Ricky was good, too bad he was not mentioned at all during the Hollywood stuff. Stevie was heartbreaking… I loved her from the auditions but… fail. Jackie T. skeered me, from her outfit to her singing. Yikes. There was a lot of ok but forgettable stuff in there… And I do like Danny and thought that all the other stuff aside, he did a good job singing so definitely deserves to move on.

We’ll see if next week does better… live show for the first show too much? Who knows.

That was pretty interesting. The comment that Micheal Johns’ cover last year of Fleetwood Mac’s Go Your Own Way was mixed (it was a taped show then) post-performance to sound terrible.

Rickey did remind me of Clay, and Clay might have had more charisma, but I always hated his song choices. Almost every one. I didn’t like his rendition of DLTSGDOM, because I didn’t like his enunciation, the dow-hown on me just aggravated me to no end. His voice was stellar so it was a stand out. His interpretation and song choice pretty much killed it for me. I don’t think he could have pulled off that song the same way Rickey did. To bad he can’t have a charisma infusion.

1. danny told the producers about his wife.

2. danny did the initial interviews with the producers concerning his wife

3. danny provided the engagement footage to the producers from his wife

4. danny mentions his wife when give the opportunity.

and last but certainly not least for a grown man,

5. danny has not asked AI NOT to use his wife. Because lets face it people, he could say to the producers “i would prefer that we not concentrate so heavily on my dead wife.”

but he has done all these things…and not stopped anything. he has assented to, encouraged and condoned the dead wife gimic.

and for that….he is the ultimate tool.

plus…in my opinion his voice is nothing but mediocre.

oh….and his freaky chruch freaks me out.

And by the way, I would much rather see MJ and Carly than some lame-ass group song tonight.
