I really liked Leneshe, too. Does the heavy handed back story mean she is in the top 12?

BTW, her song was ” ‘Nati ” which is the locals’ shorthand for Cincinnati. It started out ” ‘Nati, 513 ” . 513 is Cincinnati’s area code.

Hope she makes it through Hollywood audition rounds. Wondering if she was in Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts, too.

I think Joanna was pretty awesome and the best one so far by a very confortable mile. Too bad everything involving her, it could hurt her. But I think she has a great voice, loved the tone, and she’s gorgeous.
I can actually see the show wanting her to win, maybe that’s why they’re trying not to screw it like it happened with Carly.

I was bored once again. Not a great episode. Other than Joanna I liked Leneshe, although I can’t stand the sob stories.
Loved Matt’s song choice. Ryan has been a fan’s favorite pre season, so I was expecting them to show more of him. He sounded good. Didn’t like Felicia that much.
Still waiting for Jackie…

Actually though, I’m always impressed by those guys’ abilities to know the words to so many songs. (Excluding of course the annoying piano guys who shine a spotlight on an unsuspecting audience member multiple times when she’s simply minding her own business and not asking to be made a spectacle of!).

Leneshe is cute. Very likable. And her sob story didn’t appear as pandering to me like most “oh I’ve had such a horrible life, I deserve this one chance America give it to me” sob stories do. Her family seemed to be very honest, refreshing and respectful. I want this girl to make it far.

I was a little surprised that Paula somehow jumped from his comment to “that was a threat”. Huh? And, I think becuase poor Mark sort of has the “crazy eyes”, they made the guy look to be some kind of serial killer. I had a little sympathy for him.

In defense of Mark Mudd -IÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ve lived in Kentucky and most recently Ohio for many years and we say Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…â€œBe carefulÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ all the time. So Paula please donÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t speak for the entire nation. That was totally uncalled for. Saying Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…â€œBe carefulÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ is just another way of saying Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…â€œTake careÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . Many people say it when theyÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re saying goodbye and will be on the road, etc. Of course these judges barely drive themselves soÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦.

Good! ItÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s my first year catching more than several minutes of the audition episodesÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ has the show always been so heavy on the sob stories? I donÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t fault the contestants (for the most part), but the producers need to lay off the heavy hand because it is seriously getting OTT.

LOL! A “favorite to win”? Yeah, in the minds of the producers, maybe! That “profile” has got to be the funniest thing I’ve read all week! Unfortunately it’s also driven the final nail in the coffin for me. I really do not want this girl to make the Top 10. Ugh, and what’s even worse is that she has the same name as me!
