-Ratings Breakdown:
It was a Tuesday of split leadership, with drama populated CBS the most-watched network and the home of American Idol, Fox, No. 1 among adults 18-49. Had Idol not been pared down to one hour (with a repeat of Glee airing at 9 p.m.), Fox would have also won the evening in total viewers.

American Idol was, of course, the most-watched show of the evening, with 22.61 million viewers and an 8.2 rating/23 share among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. The aforementioned encore of Glee followed with a fourth-place finish in both total viewers (7.83 million) and adults 18-49 (3.0/ 8 ) at 9 p.m. CBS got plenty of mileage, meanwhile, from its stellar combination of NCIS (Viewers: #2, 19.50 million; A18-49: #2, 3.8/11), spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles (Viewers: #1, 16.93 million; A18-49: #2, 3.5/ 9) and The Good Wife (Viewers: #1, 13.91 million; A18-49: #1, 2.8/ 8). Only 3.11 million viewers, in fact, separated American Idol and NCIS
