GO USA! The United States women’s soccer team faces off against Japan today for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Soccer championship. The game will air on FOX today at 7 pm ET.
One of the perks of winning American Idol this year was recording the theme song for the championship, scheduled to take place in Vancouver Canada.
After Connecticut’s own, Nick Fradiani, took the crown, his single “Beautiful Life,” co-written by Chris Carrabba of the emo rock band, Dashboard Confessional, became the Official FIFA Women’s World Cup Soccer Championship theme. The song has been featured in FOX promos and in the official music video for the World Cup.
