    I was there last night..great crowd, id say about 90% full..there were definately some sections you could tell they didnt sell tickets for. Crowd favorites were Colton, Skylar and Phillip..altho Erika got a loud applause after glitter in the air, Jessica got the crowd going with Proud Mary, and Joshua got his 3000th career standing ovation after Mans world. It was a great concert, the idols put on a good show.

    Colton is letting this hacking thing happen, right? Or is this because the password on his phone is something really obvious like “messengers”?

    I sure get the feeling that Season 11′s Idols will all but disappear by the time next year’s bunch hit the tour.  Other than a bit (and based more on song placement than anything) of interest for Phillips it just doesn’t seem like this crew has hit the right chords with the off-line public.  It will be interesting to see what happens the next 9 months.

    One never knows…the S3 tour was considered a disappointment yet Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson have gone on to have pretty successful careers in entertainment.

    I think it’s really far too early to make that call.  I suspect many of them will wind up with record deals of some sort, not that that means success necessarily.  But it’s impossible to predict really.

    They are still performing to thousands every night, which IMO isn’t exactly the total fail that some make it out to be.  Idol is still the only reality show that can even mount this sort of tour and get bodies in seats.  But only time will tell. I would like to see some success stories from this group. They are far too talented.

    Regarding Colton, at this point I’m not sure if he’s doing it on purpose or if he really just doesn’t care. Heejun claimed awhile ago that he knew Colton’s password, but who knows.

    I think in addition to Phil, Colton will do well.  He seems to have carved out a niche for himself.  But in as far as anyone else signed to Interscope, I think it will only be Phil & Jessica.  Neither Pia nor Haley have done well, so I don’t know if Jimmy Iovine will go beyond the Top 2.  But I think some of the others will get deals outside of Interscope.

    That’s the “pranking” I think Heejun was talking about,and the rest of the guys, during the press rounds about doing on tour. It happened to Phillip, Deandre, Heejun and a few of the girls I think. It was funny at first but now it’s just old and meh. That’s the best these guys can do? lol

    Also, the tour is not going define their careers post Idol.  Because if that was the case, Haley, Pia, Casey, Stefano would have done a lot better with their debuts.   Season 10 had a popular tour.

    I don’t mind the hacking.  It’s usually funny.  But the difference with Colton is I swear they hack him like almost every other day.  Or so it seems.  With the others it’s usually only happened once or twice.  Mind you in some ways I think he’s easier to poke fun at than some of the others hence why they keep going back for more.  But at this point if Colton actually cared he’d either change his passwords or not leave his phone lying around constantly.
