It was the best finale I have ever seen until the results. I was really expecting Danny and Adam to be in the final. I admit Kris has an ok voice and did some good arrangements, but his talent is at such a lower level than what Adam can offer. He has such a limited vocal range and always seemed to be straining. Adam has a very bright career ahead of him, like Elvis. Even Elvis lost singing competitions. Adam will be a music icon for decades to come, probably the most successful idol ever. He was always so nice, gracious, and respectful. I totally believe they need to change how the voting is done. Maybe get rid of texting or do online or limit the # of votes each person can use. They do it on all the other shows as well as for president. It would be much more fair. I hate to say that things were rigged or that there were political issues at work here, but I have to wonder. The judges seemed stunned, and you could tell Simon wasn't happy. Look at what Chris Daughtry has done or jennifer hudson, and they didn't win. Only 2 winners are still remembered even: Carrie and the 1st year's winner. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that Adam didn't get the title that he totally deserved.
