On Wednesday, Jan. 19, the date of the American Idol Season 10 premiere the “Idol Across America Mobile Experience” will launch a four-week, 16-city nationwide tour in Los Angeles, reports Usa Today.
The biodiesel-fueled tour bus will feature Idol memorabilia, including framed platinum records, a Ryan Seacrest suit, Carrie Underwood’s finale dress and David Cook’s guitar.
U.S. residents 15 and older will be able to record their own take on host Seacrest’s signature “This is American Idol” phrase as part of a contest for the chance to deliver the line on the Idol stage alongside Seacrest (For eligibility and rules, go to americanidol.com.).
Fans also will be able to take part in the “Be Your Own Idol” singing experience and pose for photos at the judges’ table with lifesize cutouts of Seacrest and judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.
