Season 3 American Idol alum, Leah Labelle, has been nominated for a Soul Train Centric Award.  She was recently signed by Epic, where producers Pharrell and Jermaine Dupri have taken her under their wing.

It’s that time of year again, time for the best in soul, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, gospel, and beyond to be honored at the 2012 Soul Train Awards!  This year’s celebration will take place on November 8th at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.  But don’t worry–this time what happens in Vegas won’t stay in Vegas; the 2012 Soul Train Awards will premier on BET and Centric on Sunday, November 25th at 9PM eastern.  Cedric the Entertainer is the host, and New Edition is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. And of course, the 2012 Soul Train Awards wouldn’t be complete without top-notch live performances and guest appearances by some of music’s biggest stars.
