Manchester isn’t selling out evenn though it’s the last night of the tour.. but it’s a school night in September?

  • PattyH

Yea! Way better tickets released today at Staples. I just realized this concert will be one of Adam’s hometown concert! He will bring it!

After mistakenly purchasing one ticket rather than two and having to go back in again to purchase two together and then waiting on hold for an hour to cancel the first mistake, I got them and am excited! :) Adam, please win!

I did something today I had not done in years. I purchased tickets at the box office and boy, am I glad! I got great seats. As a matter of fact, it was a lottery system and I was chosen #1. That was a good sign! I tried the pre-sale yesterday with no luck. The seats were pretty bad. Strangely though, there were only about 15 people in line. I suppose people prefer the on-line experience since it is more convenient but I was in an adventurous mood this morning! LOL

UGH! I should have waited. I went ahead and bought two more tickets and will try to sell the others. So if anyone decides at the last minute they want to go the LA show, let me know. If not, I will give them to a couple of friends who may want to go and well, Christmas comes early for them!

I think I’m going to wait to get mine. Because as MJ said the other day, most of the time you can get better seats just by waiting til the last minute. :)

If Adam wins, I may end up buying tickets at the last minute. I’m only interested in four contestants this year and right now, I’m just not motivated enough to spend $85.00 on just a few songs from each of them.

I got fairly good tickets considering everything I had to do today. First we tried buying them off the computer, but my dad didn’t want to put in all the information they were asking for (is it normal for ticketmaster to ask for your social security number?) so we ended up running all around Nassau Coliseum trying to find an open door so we could buy the tickets there, but it was closed. Then we went to a nearby mall and purchased these horrible seats at the customer service section. When I came home, I went on ticketmaster just for the heck of it and discovered that a new tour date was added for Nassau Coliseum. My dad ended up buying tickets for that show instead, and they are MUCH better tickets (almost the exact same seats as last year). I think it’s better to wait a few hours to buy the tickets instead of trying to get them the second it turns ten o’clock, but what a hectic day!

Also, to anyone who knows: Do you have any idea when the idols would come out to sign autographs? My sister’s friend said they did it last year at some “meet and greet” thing that anyone can go to, and they also signed autographs after the concert too. Is this true, and if it is, what time would the meet and greet be? (This is for anyone who knows about this stuff for Nassau Coliseum) Thanks!

Just got off the phone with a friend who said she heard tickets were still available for shows in Milwaukee, San Diego and Little Rock. So, I decided to look it up and sure enough, tickets are available. The Milwaukee show does seem to be selling very well, however. Also Chicago and Long Island are doing well. Last year Salt Lake City and Kansas City sold out in a matter of minutes for the first show. in fact, to this day, Archie’s SLC show remains the fastest selling show ever for his venue. Some will blame the economy, but I think there is more going on than that. Lack of overall star power is at play also.

Man, I’m not going to the show, but that photo at the top is terrible. They all look like they’ve got the crazy eyes.

HI MJ! I really enjoy your site so was happy to purchase tickets through your link. Got 2nd row seats in Kansas City, MO. I am EXCITED! If anyone is looking for David Archuleta FLOOR tickets in Omaha NE email me. I have 2 extra that I can sell since my friend and I each bought some and we only need 2.

Got my tickets as a Mother’s Day gift!! Can’t wait for September 1. It’s a 6-7 hour drive to Minneapolis from here, but it’s worth it to see Adam, Kris, Allison, and Matt. Tried to get them through this site several times, but hubby ended up ordering over the phone. :thumbup_tb:

Nope. Not going to get tickets. I’ve went for the past couple of years, but I have no interest in going this year. There are too few contestants that I’d spend that much money to go see, and too many I’d would never want to see. Plus, I couldn’t stand listening to Danny and Adam who are going to be most of the show.

I’m waiting to see what they will sing and what format the show will be.
