When the American Idol 14 Top 5 hit Nashville last Thursday, visiting The Big Machine Label Group offices (where the winner will be signed), a and a couple of local hotspots, including Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and the Bluebird Cafe, the singers also got some extra mentoring on their songs for this week.
According to USAToday, Four-time Country Music Association female vocalist of the year Martina McBride mentored Tyanna Jones and Jax, while Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus worked with the guys — Clark Beckham, Nick Fradiani and Rayvon Owen.
Nick is set to sing Rascal Flatt’s “What Hurts the Most” and Clark will tackle Josh Turner’s “Your Man.” Click to check out the rest of this week’s song spoilers.

Martina McBride will perform “Over the Rainbow” on Wednesday’s show. Judge Harry Connick Jr. is also set to perform his song, “City Beneath the Sea.” Last year’s winner, Caleb Johnson is also set to make an appearance.
