American Idol 14 Top 11 Redux iTunes Studio Songs

So, this is new! The American Idol  14 Top 11 Redux studio songs are out on iTunes the night BEFORE the episode airs! That means we have song spoilers a day ahead of time. YAY!  You can download the tunes you like right NOW.  Just click on the links.

It’s 80s Week on Idol. Boy George will be on hand to mentor the singers. TWO performers will be eliminated tomorrow night. The save was used last week on Qaasim Middleton–it’s unclear how the elimination will work this week. Will every finalist get an opportunity to perform before two are axed? In any case, we’ll at least know what they planned to sing, and will have an idea of what we missed if it turns out the two eliminated contestants don’t perform.

Check out the song selections below!

Rayvon Owen – Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears – Download from iTunes – Ugh. Raynon. This recording is so dull. I hope he brings a little flavor to the performance tonight. But considering his track record, probably not.
Adanna Duru – I Hate Myself for Loving You by Joan Jett – Download from iTunes – A million points for thinking outside of the box regarding song choice. Not so much on her vocal delivery here.
Maddie Walker – Every Rose Has It’s Thorn by Poison – Download from iTunes – Maddie, Maddie, Maddie. SING COUNTRY SONGS. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.
Daniel Seavey – You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oats – Download from iTunes – NOPE.
Tyanna Jones – I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston – Download from iTunes – I’m going to be contrary here. Tyanna is one of the few Idol singers that can pull of fun, lightweight numbers (think Rockin’ Robin). I’m going to reserve judgement until after her live performance.
Jax – You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi – Download from iTunes
Clark Beckham – Every Breath You Take by The Police – Download from iTunes – This piano-driven arrangement has potential. I am looking forward to Clark’s live performance.
Nick Fradiani – Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson  – Download from iTunes – Nick could potentially have a moment with this song, if he digs deep and delivers a song from his gut. Will he? CAN he?
Joey Cook – Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper – Download from iTunes – I was hoping Joey would choose to sing the slow arrangement of the song that’s floating around out there. I hope she’s not back to Quirk with a capital Q.
Qaasim Middleton – Addicted to Love  by Robert Palmer – Download from iTunes – This performance is a dull, but with some fun dance moves, it could be a great live performance.
Quentin Alexander – In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins – Download from iTunes – LOVE LOVE LOVE this arrangement. I am looking forward to Quentin killing it tonight.
