    I’d only buy Candice’s song. I have Haley’s version & still listen to it quite a bit. Would do the same thing with this version. Later on maybe even us Europeans will be able to buy the recordings from this season. This one would be worth it.

    All the girls record beautifully. Terrible song choices last night, though. Kree and Candice were the only two who I thought made decent selections.

    A lot of these (e.g., coronation dreck) are not songs I would really want to hear again, regardless of the vocals lol. But I did sample them, none struck me as total trainwrecks with the recorded version. The only one I liked enough to buy was Kree, surprisingly, since I wasn’t big on her from watching the live shows. Recorded, her vocals really come through effectively. 1/2-point to Janelle I guess since I didn’t have any interest to buy her track but it did remind me I never bought the original from Montgomery Gentry for my iPod ;)

    Paul does sound quite different recorded than live, hmm. The cover photo they chose for him doesn’t seem to be doing him any favors.

    Don’t know about the original versions of the songs but Scotty had MAJOR boosts for CAD on the all genre and country charts after Idol last night and this morning.

    i’m not the biggest fan of angie’s live performance but holy cow, that recording is stunning. i loved all the stylistic choices she made on the recording. just gorgeous.

    and burnell! always love his voice.
