liked Ethan and Lauren…but i thought Johnny’s voice and style were spectacular.

Hey – the show was really good tonight with some great talent – glad I watched.  Liked almost all of them – this may be a good season – happy!

Much better tonight. Still don’t know why they show the terrible ones.

Don’t get the Lauren love but gosh Johnny has it all!  …….and those bedroom eyes!

Yes, tonight was better!  I liked Johnny, Ethan, and Lauren.  It saddens me that Idol didn’t come out with some of the TOP 24 contestants tonight.  It has to have some excellent performances to pull in the ratings.  I want Season 11 to be terrific!

He has it all, including gross pit stains! >.<

How come none of the ST Louis contestants made the final 24. . . Idol has goofed again, Johnny, Ethan or Lauren really should have been on the list.

ooh wow. i’m surprised rachelle doesn’t have a higher score… she was maybe my favorite tonight, followed closely by lauren. i can’t decide which i liked more because i love me some country and some soul. johnny sits in a comfortable third… the showboating dropped him down some in my books. the kid should have played it cool instead of pandering to the judges and trying to show off.

I guess I’m the only who couldn’t stand Lauren Gray.  She butchered that Adele song IMO.. she changed around the lyrics for no reason at all.  It was all over the place.  

Maybe there is something wrong with my ears (I checked and there is no wax buildup)… I didn’t care for anyone much. I find these audition round more and more lacking or maybe it is as simple as Randy is a giant knob, Steven just gets bleeped for the sake of getting bleeped, and Jenny’s fashion show. Looking forward to Hollywood rounds next week and the prerequisite drama that will ensue.

Ghost Dog, you’re not the only one. She bulldozed her way though that song, and I did not find it pleasant. Adele has a big voice, but she knows how to use it to effect. Lauren just oversang the whole thing.

you’re not alone, I wasn’t that impressed with her either. Thought Rachelle (with the young daughter) was the better of the girls.
