Hollie Cavanagh – Hollie was almost a no at her audition (although it seemed almost like a set-up since I think her singing was fine on her first song). Her first performance in Hollywood established that Hollie has a powerful, soaring voice however. She could be a contender if she delivers more performances like that. She good be the time of teen star the show has been looking for.

    I am liking Holly, Jacee has a nice voice but I can’t see him getting too far and definately not winning.

    When Hollie came out and belted that song, I wasn’t sure if it was the same person! She is one to watch.

    Seems like a natural rival for Lauren so I’m not sure the producers would put her through since Lauren is clearly a favorite. It would be too bad because she seems to have a lot of potential

    That’s what I thought too, MJ. Aside from her incredible crying jag, I though she sounded pretty good once she got a grip on her nerves. The English-Texas thing could be a very cool thing too, if spun the right way.
