American Idol 10 Top 11 Redux – Speculation Post! (WE GOT SOME SPOILERS)

UPDATE: We gots some spoilers! @maskedscheduler: Tiny Dancer, Country Comforts, Candle in the Wind, Daniel, Don’t Let the Sun…… Just a few gems on #IDOL tonight.

Scotty singing Country Comfort…has to be. Who the hell is singing “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” UGH. Probably has no idea it’s been sung multiple times on Idol already.

@AmericanIdol tweets, “Someone is definitely BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE tonight. Wanna know who?? Tune in and find out. 35 min East Coast…get hyped!!” (Hm. “Burn Down the Mission”?)

No spoilers but….

Scotty McCreery tweets, “showday! Cant wait for tonight! I had never heard the song im singing tonight before i chose it. haha. any guesses? or any songs yall hope i’m doing?”

Paul McDonald tweets, “Time to rock. Tonight should be a fun show.”

Casey Abrams tweets, “Alright friends, tonight is the night I go bold. Remember to vote as many times as possible :) If you do I WILL give you a hug.”

Nigel Lythgoe tweets, “#AmericanIdol contestants are singing Elton John songs really well. Two of them will be leaving us this week? I wouldn’t bet on who’s going?

James Durbin tweets, “Am I the only one excited for tonite?! This is gonna be Fun! I can’t wait for you all to see what came out of my mind! Rock on DURBINATORS”

The Scotty tweet intrigues me. A song he’s never heard of? But then, at age 16 and a country fan, he may be completely unfamiliar with the EJ catalog. Still hoping he picks a song from Tumbleweed Connection.

Uh Casey. You need to be a little less bold this week. I’m just sayin’.

I hope the “rock” in Paul’s tweet doesn’t mean he’s going to sing “Crocodile Rock”. Memo to Idols: If any of you picked that song…you are dead to me.

Oh, and Thia Megia? She must be terrified she’s going to be eliminated this week. She’s been retweeting up a storm on twitter. I have her banned from my feed at the moment.
