The Amazing Race Season 25 Episode 11 Live Recap

Tonight a new episode of The Amazing Race airs tonight on CBS. Read a live recap of the episode here.

Misti and Jim came in first place in the last leg of the race. Before they start the new leg, Misti reveals a foot injury. She has a bad cut on her foot, but is still able to continue on. This leg continues in Manila, and they’re the first to learn their new destination:  Rajah Sulayman Park. Amy and Maya depart next. They feel like they are the underdogs, but still believe they can win. They allude to the story of David and Goliath. Adam and Bethany depart next and hope they win too while discussing how important their faith is. Brooke and Robbie (who survived elimination thanks to last week’s non-elimination leg) depart last. Brooke says they just want to make Top 3. That is their goal.

All four teams get into a Jeepney to travel to the park. Misti and Jim and Amy and Maya share a Jeepney, while Adam and Bethany and Brooke and Robbie take a separate one. Adam and Bethany are the first ones to arrive at the park and find the cluebox. They learn they have a Detour to complete. “This or That.” That’s the only clue they have. They randomly choose “That,” but then choose “This” after getting direction to that location. Brooke and Robbie arrive second, but they have a Speed Bump to complete first. They need to help transfer items from a cart onto another one.

Adam and Bethany arrive at the “This” Detour and learn they have a basketball Detour to complete. They must score at least 21 points to get their next clue. The Jeepney Misti and Jim and Amy and Maya are on has to stop for gas while Adam and Bethany are still working on the Detour and Brooke and Robbie are finishing up the Speed Bump.

Misti and Jim and Amy and Maya finally learn that they have been going to wrong way. They need to get off their Jeepney and find another one to take them to the park.

Adam and Bethany complete the Detour and remain in first place. They get their next clue and learn that Divisoria Market is the location of the next cluebox. Adam and Bethany leave the Detour just as Brooke and Robbie are arriving. They get to work on the Detour as Misti and Jim and Amy and Maya finally arrive at the park and make their way to the Detour.

Brooke does especially well in the Detour, and she and Robbie complete the basketball task quickly. They can now make their way to Divisoria Market.

Amy and Maya and Misti and Jim go to the other Detour and learn they must race on a vehicle with a bicycle attached to a cart. They must make four laps on a designated course in a specific amount of time. Jim and Maya are on the bikes while Misti and Amy sit inside the cart. However, the team members must switch after each lap.

Adam and Bethany arrive at the market, but they lost their clue and aren’t sure where exactly they need to be. They have to rely on memory to find the cluebox.

Misti and Amy are now pedaling the bike after the first lap of the biking Detour. However, along the way Amy crashes hard into a parked van. However, Amy still manages to pass Misti (but Misti does have an injured foot and Jim is heavier too).

Adam and Bethany are still lost while Brooke and Robbie arrive at the cluebox first. They have a Roadblock to complete. They must deliver coconut products to three different shops. Robbie chooses to do the Roadblock.

Amy and Maya and Jim and Misti complete the Detour and are Teams #3 and #4 respectively. They make their way to the market.

Robbie realizes he didn’t read where he had to deliver the coconut products, so he has to go back and read the sign. Meanwhile, Adam finally finds the missing clue and realizes where he needs to be. He and Bethany arrive there minutes after Misti and Jim. Adam and Jim get to work on the Roadblock. Amy and Maya have still not arrived at the market yet.

Robbie finds the location of his first delivery, but did not bring enough items to deliver. He has to go back and get them. Amy and Maya finally arrive at the market and Amy does the Roadblock for them. Robbie finally makes his first delivery while Adam and Jim are still lost on where they have to deliver their items. They made the same mistake as Robbie and have to go back and read the sign on the van where to go deliver their items.

Adam and Jim make their first delivery after Robbie finishes his third. Robbie gets his clue and learns the location to the Pit Stop: Fort San Diego.

Adam makes his second delivery as Jim borrows a trolley to make delivering the coconuts easier. Amy is especially struggling with the task and is becoming overwhelmed with the heaviness of the items to carry, as well as the heat. But she borrows a trolley and uses it to deliver the coconuts. She makes her first delivery as Adam finishes the Roadblock. He and Bethany can now make their way to the Pit Stop.

Jim completes the Roadblock too, but Amy has only just finished her second delivery. She and Maya are in last place as Misti and Jim depart for the Pit Stop. However, Amy gets the task done before any teams check-in at the Pit Stop, so it’s still rather close. Amy is shaking and getting lightheaded on the taxi drive to the Pit Stop.

Brooke and Robbie arrived at the Pit Stop first and are Team #1. However, the day is not over yet and they must continue racing. Phil hands them their next clue and a sealed manila envelope. Right behind them are Adam and Bethany in second place. Misti and Jim check-in as Team #3. They too get the next clue and envelope and continue racing.

Amy and Maya arrive at the Pit Stop last, but Amy is given medical attention before they learn their fate. They are the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop.  However, they are not eliminated. For the first time in the show’s history, there will be four teams racing in the final leg! However, a team will still be eliminated sometime during the final leg.
