Allison Iraheta posted a little teaser of the music she’s been working on. You can hear it playing in the background of this short teaser vid.  Also…I’m liking the new do!

Allison tweets,  that the song is called “Why Don’t You Love Me” written by David Immerman, Jesse Owenastin and Allison!

Can’t wait to hear more.

    ETA: I may change this once I figure out how to use it. There seems to be a lot you can do with the overall look. Dangerous for someone who is as anal as I am. LOL.

    I’m loving the idea of free speech! I’ve resisted the Alliholics board because you pretty much have to stay on topic there, too. This way we can mix it up.

    But I would rather have one where we could all post – so that everything is in one place. It says its “great for groups”. What do you think? You could have a separate one, too.

    Really sleepy tonight, so I’ll look at it more tomorrow. At least I’ll know where to find you if we all get booted from here!

    I wouldn’t mind sharing one. I need to look into more. I just wonder about logging in since I need my email address to log into the one I created. I will have to look at it more tomorrow too.

    I already changed mine. Haha! I will no doubt change it again tomorrow. Too tired to look anymore. BTW these theme backgrounds are available for free and created by other people. I wish I was that creative. Lol.

    I’m bummed about the lack of video from Allison’s show. I still think she should have someone there shooting videos for her. (She can hire me… I would do it for a free pass and catered food! I am NOT kidding, lol.) All the new stuff she did… it would have been good for her to get more exposure outside of the crowd in attendance. (And I really wanted to see it!! Boo!!) She performs so infrequently, I almost feel like this one was wasted. I hope she does the same set in LA and somebody videos it.

    I saw this today…. Sweet Dreams. Quality is not good.

    Looking at the comments on the alliholics board the security was really tight. People tried to get videos, but they were afraid of being kicked out. I am bummed too :(

    The finale was so boring. I had a small glimmer of hope that Haley might perform. I know that they were going for the drama, but at least there was a chance. Ha!

    I don’t know – I’d like to reserve judgment until we get a decent video/soundtrack of all (or at least some) of Allison’s new stuff. I know the sound was not bad, but it still wasn’t good enough for me to give a strong opinion. But, I’m still really anxious and optimistic to hear more of Allison. I especially would’ve liked to have heard “D” performed live.

    I wish I could catch Allison tonight, but I’m just getting over a (routine) medical procedure. Also have some other family obligations that make it impossible. I’m guessing, if this is like some of these other similar type situations, that Allison will get to sing one or 2 songs with acoustical accompaniment. So, depends on the songs as to how much I regret missing the live performance.

    Final Kauai comments: alli lurker, looks like we missed each other by a matter of minutes. The Hanalei custom tee shirt shop was on the right side as you approach from the south. If you’re interested in the subject of the tee shirt, google “red footed bird at Kilauea lighthouse.” We also walked right past the cutout, but we didn’t stop to take a picture.

    Good to hear that it was only routine. Reading on twitter it sounds like as of right now she still has not performed. This is a lot later than I expected.

    I think this has to be one of the most stunning Allison pictures I have ever seen. I love her hair, the dress and her necklace. Wow!

    So much to take in… but I’m really loving the new songs. She sings her butt off on Love and Tonight’s lyrics are awesome… tonight, I’m someone else’s…. tonight, I’m someone else… tonight, gonna free myself. LOVE THAT!!

    You know, I think I’m feeling a Patti Smith (not Smyth, lol) vibe from Allison now. Kind of punk, kind of dark. Wouldn’t she sound great covering Patti’s songs “Because the Night”, or “Dancing Barefoot”? They both have that deep voice. I would love to hear that!!! Classic songs.
