Too late to edit my previous comment, but also, I believe that Pink is on LaFace, another label in the Zomba group, rather than Jive — a little bit unclear to me, though.

RemusL: Jive is also home to Pink and bands like Three Days Grace, Tool, Bullet For My Valentine, The Dares, Bowling For Soup, 311 and Apocalyptica. They donÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t just have R&B, hip hop and urban acts.

311 and Tool aren’t on Jive — they’re on Volcano Records, which is a separate label within Jive’s parent, Zomba. But yeah, the others are on Jive, which does give at least a glimmer of hope that Jive won’t screw up Allison’s sound. But I agree with oceana that it’s hard to know what they’ll do with her. I’m not holding my breath either way.

I hope she makes a rock album but with Jive itÃƒ ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s hard to know.

YAY! I so cannot wait for Allison’s CD to be released! She quickly became my favorite girl after she first appeared in the Top 36. I’m so glad at how things have worked out for her. She definitely didn’t need to even be in the Final 2 for a record deal.

From what I am hearing about her album, it sounds amazing…she’s working with Dave Hodges and Kara, their are strong rumors that she is working with Max martin, and Dr. Luke.

They are definitely keeping her alternative/pop
