She looks gorgeous! I love the look she’s sporting at the cap that MJ used the best.

I wonder if our little starlet is prepared for how huge she’s gonna be when her album blows up. I was out driving around today and those snippets kept running through my head. First it was Robot Love (interesting because its not a favorite – must be an earworm) I still love that lyric “technology sucks *sucks!*, I wanna change all your numbers, put your phone underwater”. Then the chorus of You Don’t Know Me came blasting in. And finally… the smoldering D is for Dangerous. Aaahhh.

I need this album now!

I’m really happy to see her ‘speaking to the fans’ like that. I don’t think she did enough of that on AI and I think it could have helped her.

She is great, her album seems just awesome and I hope that her fans are ready for some rock ride!

Lovely! She’s gonna be a superstar – I know it. God, but it’s great to see a certifiably ‘nice’ person achieve success. There are so many Jon Gosselin’s in the world – it’s satisfying to see someone lovely on the inside (as well as out!) rise to the top. I wish her nothing but starlight.

It would not surprise me if she outsold both Kris and Adam.

I was hoping MJ would start a thread with this.

I’m a little nervous about this. Allison looks a bit nervous, too. I wonder if she’s happy about what’s going on there. I’ll save judgement until I see the finished product. I WILL say that I love the parts where she’s fronting the band and I especially love the part where her drummer is in the background ‘air drumming’ to the song.

The band looks fun.

Very cool look at the making of the video — it looks to me like it could end up being very retro, like the early days of videos in the early/mid 80s. I think that’d be fun.

You know, we didn’t get a very good look at the keyboard player in that piece, but he really didn’t look like Troy Laureta to me. Am I crazy? Maybe he’s just one of those people who look very different from one time to the next. Or maybe I’m just visually incompetent — which, well, I am.

Regarding the comfort level, she seemed ok to me. Maybe what you see is that she is trying not to move too much and mess up all the make-up/hair/outfit stuff she has on.

Random Keyboard Player #2 — I like it! Kind of reminds me of Guy Fleegman from Galaxy Quest — Obscure Reference #1…

Hey, I mentioned this on Headlines this morning, but of course all things Allison/Kris get lost in, well, you know — anyway, she has an appearance on Ellen on December 3. Very cool. I hope more of those appearances pop up in the next couple of weeks.

JohnM: I thought she looked a little nervous when the camera guy asked how she was doing. Maybe I was just reading into it…

I’m nervous cuz she’s ‘the rocker’, not ‘the popper’ and I (selfishly) don’t want this to feel really teenish. (Although teens will probably see it way more than I will.) I guess we’ll just see how it goes.

It was just now that I had a chance to listen to the sneak peek of Allison’s album, and I love what I hear, and her voice is as gorgeous as usual.

Well, I always liked her but was not an invested fan. Now I am, I’ll be buying her music from now on.
