so i’m gonna give allison some love since nobody else seems to care.

i hope she does really well! and thus my kradam pre-order is complete!

It’d be cool to get song snippets from Alli, I’m really curious about the sound of the rest of her songs, I love her voice, I just didn’t love her single and I’m sure that hearing something from the rest of the album would get me back on track with her.

I’m so sad that we can’t hear the snippets yet. Hopefully later today we’ll be able to. I’m so curious about a lot of her songs. I’m happy to see the Spanish of her single version included in the deluxe edition.

I’ll definitely be pre-ordering this.

Reading my post, I guess I was still asleep even when I posted, that last sentence doesn’t make much sense.

I think the video is the same video posted on Popeater about a week ago, behind the scenes at the album photoshoot.

Very excited to see the Spanish track AND another bonus song. I’m very curious about their plans for that Spanish track.

Allison’s cd is the one off season 8 that I’m excited about and can’t wait to hear. Snippets please! I hate the suspense, lol.

I honestly didn’t like her single. I thought it was stripped of most everything that was awesome about Allison on the show. I’m wanting to hear full songs before deciding if I’ll buy her album.

Does anyone know anything about Allison’s single and how it’s doing? Anything about her gets lost in the Adam and Kris talk in the mediabase threads.

I did see on DCO that she didn’t get any new adds this week, but is the same as last week. I’m not sure what she had last week (for radio stations and spins).

I can’t wait until her promotion truly begins. Wasn’t she supposed to do radio interviews last week? We didn’t hear about any, I don’t think. She’s been quiet lately, I wonder what they’re cooking up for her.

I just have to add, I love Allison and her crazy tweets are fine with me, but the “I’m going to bear yr ass” theme is getting old. She’s really stuck on that theme isn’t she? I think it could be offputting to potential fans … I’m surprised her management doesn’t advise her to tone it down a bit. Am I off base to think that?

Was her single even sent to AC/HAC? But no, it’s not doing well at all.

If she wasn’t an idol, I’d say the best thing to do would be push back the album, but for an idol, yeah, maybe this is the best time to release it, or those idol fans may not be there next year.
The album is #148 now.

I can’t wait to hear it.

I am a big fan of her and i truly believe in her. Can’t wait for the album. Probably because she is 17 they wont push so hard ( 19E) and more likely songs will be more pop than rock( i hope i’m wrong). Anyways, i looove her voice, she is a real rocker and love rock music, so…keep it up Allison.

Well, that’s her. Im also surprised, but glad at the same time. It tells me they are letting her be. On the other hand, we don’t know if they have advised her and this is her “toned down” version. Either case, she’ll grow out of it (or not).
Just for kicks, I heard this morning Dilana’s Holiday, and that song kicks some serious behind. That’s one I would like to see Allison do live.

BTW, besides the snippets, there is the album listening at Torrid stores Nov. 20 and 21.

Same here. So far I have been satisfied with the way things have gone, but its time to ramp up the promos. Release is only 3 weeks away.

I just want the album anything else is bonus. Eventuality she’s going to tour in support for the album and work hard at it in the traditional form. I’m also positive shell drop a follow up album sometime in the future. 19E/Jive has a timeline or priorities, she was fourth. I’m cool with that

Nice thing about being an Alli fan is that your fellow fans aren’t compelled to correct grammar, spelling and such and can simply draw the meaning from your post as intelligent peeps do in real life.

WOW! a Spanish track AND and co-Daurgtry track! When “The Voice” hits the mainstream, it will make a huge splash.

The iPhone correction feature turned out to be a miscorrection on -eventually.
I also think that if you choose to follow anybody on Twitter, expect the unexpected. As for me, she can twit whateva she feels.

I’m really excited about her album. Also read somewhere her radio promo starts by the end of this week, she also has some live performances set starting Dec 1. Hope more shows start to popping up. All she needs is some promo to get her name out there. FIBOU is a very radio friendly single and she’ll do fine with it!

I’m hoping there’s a song on her album that Idol can use as an exit song – to remind everyone how her exit performance was the most amazing of all time. (And sell more albums, of course!)

Gasp! Is that code for her song called “Still Breathing”… ha!! But seriously, I was wondering about that one. Hmmm….

I can’t wait to buy this! I would love the bonus track but I buy cds so hopefully I can buy it somewhere. Regarding FIBOU’s slow progress, Allison is not a known artist. Radio has material from successful artists that they’d play any day over a newbie so I’m not worried.

Maybe TPTB are playing it low-key with Allison right now so that they can get as many pre-sales out of Kris and Adam as they can before Allison’s snippets appear and blow everyone away. Fingers crossed!

Had to be offline all morning, so I for one am glad the snippets didn’t show up and leave me out of all the fun!

I think she didn’t get any adds yesterday because Monday is HAC adds and Tuesday is pop adds. So she might get more pop adds today.

Mediabase shows four stations that have added it — two of them two weeks ago, and two last week. The one that’s playing it the most is in Memphis, where she was announced as a jingle ball performer a while back. Now that she’s also on the bill at Orlando’s jingle ball, hopefully a station there will add it, and that’s got to be a fairly big market.

She’s gotten a handful of HAC spins, but my guess is that no HAC stations will add it unless it blows up on pop first. As for AC, I can’t even imagine a universe in which any AC station would add it.

Although the progress has been very slow, it’s been progress. She doubled her spins from two weeks ago to last week — last week was 72 spins, I believe. So, if the trend continues, she should be in good shape eventually. And the increase so far has been with no promo, so hopefully the promo that starts in a few days will help move things along. And as salz said, she’s essentially an unknown/new artist, so the slow progress is to be expected, IMO.

She wasn’t supposed to, but she did do one at KIIS in LA on Friday night. I really hope that means KIIS will be adding it.

I think it’s been quiet because she’s been in rehearsals. I suspect they’ve been focusing on getting the band as tight as possible before they start their appearances.

Well, I will say that the label’s PR to the fans (via her site and street team) is very clearly aimed at teenagers (boy, do I feel like a fish out of water:-)), so I suspect that they’re not very worried that the target audience is likely to be offended.

The “no snippets” thing is probably just another iTunes screw-up — they happen all the time. Of course, the minor glitches last week were a catastrophe of global proportions because they affected The Greatest Being Ever Created In This Or Any Universe , but really, these minor things are very common. Doesn’t make it any easier to wait, though!

About the Lyndsey Parker delay, no clue.

As for getting DJ JoJo instead of Ryan, I figure KIIS is treating her like a newcomer just as all the other stations are, and thus they’re not giving her the top-shelf treatment. But if they add FIBOU, probably other stations will follow, so I’m just happy they had her on.

I have a bone to pick with Ryan. I remember him saying he would be playing “you (Allison)” on the radio real soon. I know he was being nice to Alli but still. Somebody ought to twit him that fact.

Well, look at that — she did get more pop adds today. And pretty good ones — only one of her previous four was in a top 100 market, while both of these new ones are — Madison WI and Buffalo (actually just across the border from Buffalo in Ontario). Market ranks are 98 (Madison) and 52 (Buffalo).

Plus, the Madison station is her first major chain station — Clear Channel — so hopefully there will be some snowball effect from that across the chain. And that station shows 10 spins for last week.

Lots to love here. Some songs sound alot like Pink (You Don’t Know Me, Don’t Waste The Pretty, Scars). Early favorite for me is BEAT ME UP!! YAY!!

I really like the snippets. I think Scars and Trouble is are my favs from the snippets but I can’t wait to hear the full songs. I think she sounds amazing!

Really loving “You Don’t Know Me” – I like the lyrics and her voice on that one. Also loving her voice on “Still Breathing” and “Pieces”.

“Beat Me Up” makes me smile every time I hear it (the snippet, anyway). Kind of ironic…

YES!! I am now happy…this girl rocks…I really love her vibe and her voice is just omg cool..very reminiscent of P!nk and I lover her…Im so happy for her…I offer my congratulations to her and her peeps/collaborators..
I also think that like Adam, her voice can pretty much make any song sound good…:)

I am loving what I’m hearing here! There’s nothing here that strikes me as a bad track and this is totally 100% Allison, this is her voice.

I agree. Its no coincidence that the snippets I like the most are the ones where I can hear her the best. I think that’s why FIBOU was initially dissed by some, and why the Spanish version is so loved. Her instrument is really unique. Also, as she did in Idol, she conveys the right emotion for the song. It is impressive how she can convey anger in FIBOU and pain in the Spanish counterpart.
Can’t wait for the day when I can finally own these songs, put them in my iPod, raise the volume, and enjoy the Rocker.

I really hope she sings “You Don’t Know Me” for Simon next season!!

Well, some of the songs are poppy, like FIBOU, but others are just really good songs, so I’m really happy, and looking forward to downloading it on the 1st. Robot Love is the only song I’m not sure I like at all, and Scars has got to be the P!nk song, it sounds just like her. Don’t Waste the Pretty is great, and funnily enough, since Dilana’s voice is so similar, I like Holiday much better with Allison singing it. Go figure, lol. Any way, Yay! for Allison. I’m really going to like this album!

Allison wrote “You Don’t know me” She had one co-writer. She didn’t just change a line here and there she wrote it. I hope this single hits the charts. I love all her songs. I can’t wait until she gets more publicity and shows her videos. I still feel they have been holding her back. Especially when they pulled FIBOU. I want to listen to all her songs. Rock Goddess. She is going to be on Good morning america december 1. Do you see it publicized like Adam who will be on this month.
