Allison Iraheta Debuts New Songs At the Troubadour (VIDEOS)

American Idol rocker chick, Allison Iraheta, has resurfaced as the lead singer of the band Halo Circus. The Season 8 alum played a set at the Troubadour in Los Angeles earlier this week.

The singer sang a short set that included the new songs, “Something Special”, “Nothing at all”,”Out of love” and “You Can’t Take You Away From Me.”

Check out the return of Allison below.

My favorite song from the set is the upbeat “Something Special”:

Here’s a mid-tempo rocker, “Nothing At All”

Allison tweeted a video of the ballad “You Can’t Take You Away from Me” to her fans earlier today. It must be a favorite!

Allison sounds great and I really like the songs. I always thought she should front a band.

I love Halo Circus’s music. I really enjoyed the rocked out version of Nothing at All compared to the acoustic version she did last year. I am most interested in hearing the studio version of You Can’t Take You Away From Me. Loving that song.

I can’t wait to see these.  She’s on of my all time Idol faves.  I will watch when I get home.

I was at this show. The crowd seemed to like Allison. They were really into You Can’t Take You Away From Me

Not a good sign when an IDOL keeps changing bands…this is what?  Her 3rd or 4th one?

  • HermeticallySealed

What? LoL  This is the first band outside of her solo run.

Nothing At All is reminding me of No Doubt in a good way. Although I think it needs a bit more time to gel.

    The drummer, though…she’s amazing.

Looking forward to seeing how they devleop.
