I love that she looks a real teenager compared to the Miley’s, Taylor’s, and Selena’s of the world. It’ll be interesting to see if regular teenagers support her for being closer to a normal type then the others or reject her because she is not the glossy image that seems so popular right now.

I don’t know what a “real teenager” is or should look like, but I do think Allison looks very pretty in that outfit.

She looks fantastic, very pretty. Glad to see her attending these sort of things. I watched the Latin VMAs last night and I was ready for her to push a bunch of people (Ashley Tisdale and Paulina Rubia included) off the stage and take over, she’s so much better than them.

I agree – there is nothing scandalous about her dress she looks sweet and fabulous. Would have been too cute if Archie was there as her date.

Everything about her look is just perfect, not a single misstep. This girl has and knows some class…but I really haven’t seen her wear anything (even the stuff on AI or the tour) that hasn’t been thought out and didn’t look appropriate on her. Whether it’s a stylist or that she has some awesome taste and awareness (I personally think it’s the later) she gets my vote as one classy young lady.

Now if only Kelly Clarkson could steal Allison’s stylist! I always thought Allison reminded me of a young Kelly. The difference is that Alli doesn’t wear horribly unflattering outfits and Kelly does. Allison might be able to learn some things from Kelly about the biz, but Kelly could learn some things from Allison about style.

LOL pretty much. I just don’t like definitions of what a “real” teenager looks like or for that matter what a “real” woman looks like (curvy vs. skinny–when in reality they come in all shapes). Allison looks good. So do Taylor, Miley, and Demi. They all have good stylists.

Allisan looks great. The color is okay but I think if that dress had been a deep blue(and matte) to match the highlights in her hair it would have been killer.

ETA: on a side note, I think Allison’s hair should have it’s own daily thread! It’s amazing.

well what more can I add? Everyone has pretty much said it all. Allison looks fan freaking tastic and though I don’t love the dress she pulls it off remarkably well and looks great. But Allison is a very pretty girl, and apparently has some good styling advice so I’m not too worried about that. I would have rather seen her perform last night. I think the single can benefit greatly from Allison killing it live (killing in a good way) but I guess we’ll just have to wait a bit longer fro that.

I think she looks great, youthful, and stylish. I like the cut of the dress and shiny is good given the venue very appropriate. The shoes don’t look comfortable though. I would have gone for a lower healed strappy sandal in pewter.

Oh, but I love those shoes! She probably spent most of the night sitting anyway.

I think Allison looks adorable here. But, I also usually think that Taylor is pretty adorable as well. I usually don’t mind how the teenagers dress for these big shin digs, except when they wear some gown that was clearly designed for a much older woman.

Allison’s hair is fabulous. It gives her a lot of options to try different styles.
