In the KRZ interview (the one mj posted), the guy reminded me a lot of Regis — not in the sound of his voice, but in seeming like a clueless space cadet!

If this singing thing doesn’t work out, she’d be a great radio personality, as that guest DJ appearance was too much fun. Personally I think the singing thing will work out. Way to go girl. Thanks John, as I’s missed that.

I was debating whether or not I should check out this film. Maybe leave after Alli gets done with the her block – since the movie aint for me.

The beauty of a major label flexing its muscle in what its probably one of the best movies, in terms of hype, for an audience perfect for Allison to promote the album.
This brings up Jives strategy and how they’re 100 committed to Allison and the material. The other jaunt that taps into an audience ready for Allison is the KIIS Jingle Ball gig. The headliner: the hottest act Taylor Swift and all her following will be exposed to Allison Iraheta and her young cool band. There is a lot of work to be done, and the probabilities are that she will tour supporting a major act based on Jives committment elbowing their influence in the industry.
Didn’t Jive’s president fell in love with Allison early on? I think 19 and the label love her, and will go the extra mile to make it work, in my view.
I just want the album, and check out a gig or two.

That sux nobody pays any attention to pre-shows. I know I don’t. Hopefully the mv will rotate enough on MTV, Much Music, Vh1 and any other that matters. And, that people won’t forget Alli after NM is over.

It’s not bad, she’ll still get exposure and she’ll be the main attraction during the pre-show.

After learning that Holiday will be in both their albums it’s great to read this from Dilana herself.

Hey Mari that’s real nice. I wonder too if she saw Alli’s Lyndsey Parker interview and decided to post the comment. Dilana’s pic is a promo of an upcomming Dilana show on the Allison’s myspace post. Oh well.

I’m not sure what I think about Dilana… she may just be looking for publicity with those posts or feeling guilty about the timing of her own release.

Its a great song, but ever since I saw Dilana’s video, I think of Holiday as her song. Luckily, Allison has many other great songs on her album.

Nobody liked DJ Jeff? I thought he and Allison were a great pair – polar opposites!! He was clearly amused by her. He had some great lines, too…

“Its as rrrrrrrreeeeeeddddddd as red can be!”

“Not your average girl here by any means.”

And this exchange was classic:

Allison (in whiney kid voice): “Mom, when can I have a boyfriend?”
DJ Jeff (as fake mom): “When you have your first hit!!”

BTW, does anybody else think that Allison is talking about Red Bull when she talks about Cool Aid? Girl’s gonna crash hard at some point.

5hour energy drink, more likely than Red Bull. Those are actually not bad and don’t make you crash.

She did. She tweeted about the interview. Of course she’s looking for some promo but posting on Allison’s MySpace under the comments isn’t so big, only us diehard fans notice that stuff. I still think it’s nice of her to give her so many props. We don’t even know what happened there and whether or not Dilana herself knew both albums would be coming out so close to one another.

She was on some radio station tonight and this woman who got to meet her tweeted about it:

All those DJs seem to really like her.

I remember a long time ago when she was on Good Day LA and that older guy got so excited when she called him ‘dude’. “I’m cool, I’m cool, she called me dude!” (or something like that) Funny!

Listening to the sounds of her voice in all these interviews, its safe to say, her voice is in top form. By comparison, all the interviews during the tour, including the Wall Mart interview, her voice-timbre was rougher almost to a point of being shot. Now it sounds like she can kick some ass.

The GMA folks are gonna be stunned, like Conan sincerely reacting with three wows. can’t wait

her voice is in top form.
