If I Can Dream artist and former American Idol Season 9 Top 24 contestant Alex Lambert brought some smiles to faces at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles yesterday (August 5) as he performed a few tunes for the young patients.

This special event was arranged by The Reality Cares Foundation.

    I barely know who he is, but there’s a piece about him here practically every day.

    I certainly wouldn’t mind Alex becoming the big star of S9 (and Crystal Bowersox). I just hope he isn’t a douche anymore at some point :P.

    Also, his hair works better now than it did when he had a mullet.

    Aww, I almost teared when I realized that I think that’s the biggest I’ve ever seen him smile. He’s not really a bad guy, is he? :).

    @jammasta – He really is not a bad guy. He sticks up for his house mates-even after they’ve argued vehemently. He supports them, admires them and confides in them. He is nothing but professional when working with songwriters and producers, who have only positive comments regarding working with him. He is extremely hard-working and driven. He is also very close and protective of his family in Texas.

    These photos are adorable! One of his wonderful fans made the cross necklace you see in these photos. He recently received the gift and thanked the fan on-camera and immediately put it on. He is ultra gracious when receiving fan-mail/gifts, always taking the time to read letters thoroughly, and he is genuinely appreciative.

    I wish Alex great success. It’s tough out there, but I think he is on the right path!

    Yes he must have a great press agent mickeybordentwo, for someone who didn’t even get in the top 10 he sure gets a lot of publicity. I still don’t think much of him but if he works hard and gets somewhere, well good on him.

    Alex has a great voice he just needs to grow up a little. I hope he does well with his music. Good to see him doing some things like this.
